Very nice and peaceful place to stay, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is great to start the day! In front of the river that goes to inle lake, perfect to do a boat tour! We recommend this place!

You get what you pay for: the rooms are basic but clean, and the shared bathrooms have no hot water and are not the best. But the staff are friendly and work hard to provide the best services and the breakfast is the best we've had in Myanmar hotels so far (including avocado, eggs and toast during the Feb season)....

Good location in downtown. The breakfast is nice: eggs, coffee or tea, toasts and fruit. The rooms are alright. The internet is terrible. The bathrooms can be cleaner, but have hot water. It is one of the cheapest accommodation options in town. You get what you pay for (around US17 for a private double room with shared bathroom, and US10...

We stayed here for 2 nights in early December. The hotel is fairly central, though down a dark side street. The room (economy twin) was clean and a decent size. The bathrooms are shared - 2 toilets and 2 showers for a floor of 4 or 5 rooms, so not bad. The toilets and showers were relatively clean. At one...

This was our last stop in myanmar so we took it easy and we relaxed. We spent in total 5 nights at joy hotel and I cannot complain about anything. Maybe the road is a bit noisy in the morning... but you would probably wake up anyway early. Breakfast is basic but nice, eggs, bread, fruits and tea/coffee. Rooms are...

I arrived in Nyaungshwe off an overnight bus from Mandalay with no accommodation booked... A very helpful lady at JJ Tours bus company arranged my stay at Joy. I could not have been happier. The ladies running this budget accommodation are so gracious, warm and friendly, it truly feels like you are coming home each day. The rooms are basic...

We stayed here one night and really enjoyed it. The staff let us in our room early after getting in from the overnight bus. The room was clean and large for two people. The bathroom was also clean. It's not the quietest area with the boats going down the canal, but it didn't bother us much. The staff were very...

when we booked, we knew it would be simple, so we can't complain. our room didn't have aircon and it was really hot. the curtains were very poor and in the morning it was super light. also, we were right in front of the breakfast area, so we didn't have a lot of privacy because you could see it through....
