Detailed Reviews

We like the place and the opportunities they provide. The attention was very high, quickly and well.
BUT, The houses are too closed to each other so you can hear people from the other side.
The wifi is really poor.
The place is really beautiful and have spa and a great service.

The cabin's has 2 rooms separeted by one door. One with marital bed and the other one for childrens, no ideal for childrens.
The water heater didnt work and the owner didnt repair it on time for our stay.
It does have a good breakfast, is close to everything on isla negra, walking distance (supermarket, pablo neruda's house, center of the town) and have horses for the kids

The location of these cabañas is perfect. Close to the beach, cose to Pablo Nerudas house, close to the bus station, close to a supermarket, but especially: close to la Nave Imaginario (or 'The Imagniary Ship'). Just a little further up the street on the right side. Knock on the door and yell 'CAPITAN!' After a 20-minute tour of his incredible 'house' you leave it as a kid. You pay whatever you want, he says: "whatever is according to what this journey was worth to you"
So anyway, about the cabañas: They're cabañas, hutty houses, small but cosy. They all have thin walls so you might hear a distant snore of your neighbour, if he snores. Didn't bother us much but maybe it's good to pick a cabaña that stands alone. There is one that has a wood-stove! Try that one!
The Argentinian-Chilean couple that work at the place most of the time are amazing. Hardly anything is a problem to them. We broke a key in the lock caus the door was jammed: they helped us out, made nothing of it.
We went during autumn, in May, so low season. I can imagine that in summer Isla Negra is not as nice because of the abundance of people.
Sunset down by the beach: unforgettable! Perfect weekend-destination but I think I could stay here a full week without getting bored. On the premises of the cabañas there's a small soccer-field, a swimming pool, a chess-table, a pool-table, a bbq-house for everyone to use, pingpong-tables, ...
We payed 25,000 CHP for the first night, 20,000 for the second. We were only two people but there were two more beds in the cabaña so if you're more that's amazing value!

My experience at Pinares Del Mar was nothing short of incredible. I got stuck in Chile after the borders shut down in mid-March due to Covid. Adriana and Jose took me and 2 of my friends under their wings for almost 4 months. We felt so comfortable and welcome... the cabanas were clean, comfy, with full kitchen, tv, and a front porch where we would enjoy Isla Negra’s spectacular sunsets. The property itself is perfect location; walking distance from the beach, the museum of Pablo Neruda, and grocery/convenience stores. They have horses, dogs, beautiful plants/full garden, fantastic restaurant (ask for Jose’s traditional sopapillas and Lu’s desserts) , pool, jacuzzi, spa, game room, and barbecue where they cook up traditional Argentinian/Chilean ‘asados’.
But by far the most special part about Pinares Del Mar is the people. Rest assured that you will be treated like family when you stay here <3 I can’t wait to go back.

You can hear the silence accompanied by the singing of birds and that sea breeze exclusive to Isla Negra. The enclosure is very well decorated in rustic cabins in the middle of the forest, with respect to the staff, always with a smile and willing to help us with anything you need. Definitely recommended if you want to disconnect from the stress of the city, we will return 💪.

Warm welcome, although we booked late by telephone and arrived late in the evening. The place is very pleasant and is located on a wooded plot. We had dinner in their restaurant where they served us delicious pizza and a very good pisco sour.

Everything very cute !! It's getting better and better, it's been a while since I've been here and there are always new details. a lot of concern to improve and tourists see such beautiful things from artisans in the sector and now also two wonderful craft stalls... my wife made me buy everything from her... always recommended!

Bad experience the last 2 times I went, I thought it was accidental and this time it was even worse.
I've been going for a while and they haven't renewed anything. They changed cabins and both had miserable showers with no water coming out. For what they charge, the place leaves a lot to be desired in infrastructure. The staff is not the best either.
