Firstly, the taxi driver had a nightmare trying to find the place but once there you will find a cosy, friendly place that has exceedingly helpful staff. Also the location is very close to the bus station and the town centre and some very good eateries (tip: HUG for sushi and pizza from Pasta e Brazza) Unfortunately the hostel only...

Susana, at the reception, and Juanita, who's the housekeeper, made us feel at home, being very attentive and recommending things to do and places to go. Good location, 5 min from the main square. Breakfast served at table and in more than enough quantities. Bathrooms and kitchen are not new but very clean and with hot water. 100% recommended!

This hostel is hidden behind trees full of flowers. Inside it's cosy with bunk beds and white sheets. There is hot water 24h and the water pressure is very good as well. Beds are super comfy, just lack a ladder to get up so it's a bit of a climb. Breakfast is very good (especially after coming from Bolivia). The...

A generally fantastic and cosy hostel, more like a big shared house than anything else. Super nice staff, very clean, nice dorms and design inside. One of the better breakfasts in South America, made fresh for you every morning and good showers and wifi. The location is great too. Stayed 4 nights, could have stayed weeks. Gracias!

Great few nights at this lovely hostel. It's more like living in a shared house really. We had a private room sharing a bathroom with 2 other double rooms. There was sometimes a bit of a queue, but not too bad! The breakfast was fab, fresh juice, toast, eggs & porridge oats. All in all a very friendly place. 15...

We stayed here for two nights and wish we could of stayed longer. This is one of the best hostels we've stayed in so far on our 6 month trip. The staff were so nice, wifi was great and breakfast was lovely. I would definitely stay here again! Also the best was amazing!

The hostel is really cozy, the beds are very comfortable with warm blankets, the shower was hot enough and overall everything was clean. We highly recommend!...

Not much in la serena, but I was happy to stay here. Can get a bit cold in winter without heat and showers arent super warm. However beds are comfy and the house feels super cosy. Staff is so sweet and helpful. Breakfast is so yummy and better than most in chile. Not too far from the bus station either....
