A fairly shabby hotel and not well insulated. Thankfully there was an electric blanket on the bed but would've been very cold if not. The room did not feel secure, towel provided was threadbare and it needed a good clean and lick of paint. Breakfast is basic. TV did not work. Staff were not very friendly. They were also not...

We stayed here as part of a tour trough S-A. The hotel is nicely located just of the historic centre. The hotel has nice patio's that you can use to lounge around or to have a picnic. The rooms are big enough, however could do with a renovation. Bathrooms are clean but outdated.

Staff are pretty friendly except the cook on the last 2 days who looked offended when we asked for more toast as the breakfast portions were minimal. They need to get grain coffee as well. Rooms are ok though windows darken the room, the TV is old and small, tiling in not well finished in the bathroom, and you have...

Mixed feelings. The staff were helpful when we needed them to be, but at 48 a night (off season), this is more expensive and far less nice than some of the lovely hostels in town. The rooms are basic and FREEZING - no heating, only an electric blanket. The shower was the opposite: water so scalding I had to settle...

Simple rooms, not much space but we are three. We stopped over for one night, we just needed a comfy room for a good sleep near downtown, the hotel fit the bill perfectly. Service for us was cordial and helpful when needed. Breakfast had the basic stuff, it was ok. Considering the price and location it is a very good...

My first impression on arriving was that it was going to be a grim couple of nights. This reaction wasn't improved by the dingy and rather ramshackle reception area. However, these feelings were alleviated after going through to the long, narrow but bright courtyard where the rooms are located on two floors. The rooms are a reasonable size and decorated...

The structure of the hotel is good, rooms are bright, beds are warm (with electric warming mattress pads) and the shower is great. But staff was not sympathetic or helpful. The man I believe is the owner of the place posed several rules like - "you can't eat on your room and you can't also use the kitchen". My friends...

The previous reviews on here are based on what this hotel used to be like. I am pleased to say that things are improving and when I stayed there for 2 nights in January 2012 the hotel was busy being renovated. There was a lot of work going on but it didn't spoil our stay here and these are absolute...

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling around South America. Rooms were very basic with no facilities beyond a bed and bathroom. The room felt damp the whole time we were there, and the bathroom had mould along the ceiling and walls. The whole place could do with a complete renovation as the decor was noticeably...
