Location of the hotel is central, though still Quiet. Shops and the village centre are within walking distance. Tours come and pick you up at the hotel. Rooms are basic but ok. Restaurant could be improved as can be quality of the breakfast. The pool area is great. Staff is not very friendly though helpful when needed.

Amazing hotel - we just stayed one night but would have liked to have stayed longer. The room was fantastic, great design features - loved it (a his and her basin, indoor and outdoor showers in complete privacy).Lovely bed and lounge area. Breakfast was adequate but for the hotel price charged we expected a better and greater variety and quality...

Stayed five nights at the Hotel Cumbres and enjoyed the hospitality and desire to make my stay as comfortable and as interesting as possible. What was really a treat was having local people all from San Pedro de Atacama as guides and drivers. Yes, occasionally language was a bit of a challenge but these young people all tried so hard...

We stayed here three nights. The rooms feature both an indoor and outdoor shower for each room. The rooms are nicely appointed and the service is v good. My main issues are that the a/c in the rooms is difficult to operate or discern, even w assistance and the internet connection outside the lobby was unreliable. However, this hotel has...

We have just stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Cumbres and had a wonderful time. The staff and tour leaders were very helpful and friendly. The food is good but the menu is fairly limited. The house keeping needs to be better managed as the public bathrooms need regular checks for clean towels etc. In spire of these shortfalls we...

The hotel is lovely with wonderful rooms and the staff especially the reception and manager were great. However, the rooms have large wardrobes through which your neighbours every sound can be heard - horrible- especially if arguing. Furthermore the restaurant food is horrible and over cooked - go into town. There is filthy instant coffee and one coffee per per...

The rooms are located outside the main building, are very spacious and comfortable. The architecture reflects a great concern in preserving the character of the region. The general effect is pretty good, although I would have appreciated that the way to the rooms were better paved, so that the shoes would not become too dusty. The social area is very ample....

The Posada is in a great location within the historic town and close to the Rio de la Plata with, on a clear day, a view of Buenos Aires. You receive a friendly welcome and are shown to one of the well furnished rooms with what was an historic building, features are not lost but adapted into what is a...

My wife and I travelled up from Santiago over a two-week driving excursion where we hit various towns along the way, culminating in three nights at Hotel Cumbres in the middle of the Atacama Desert. When you drive into San Pedro, you go from pavement to dirt road in an instant and then do the dance on how to find...

First I cant say enough good things about Chile. This was our second trip to the country and we loved the Atacama region. Unfortunately we were taken advantage of the this hotel. What sets the pros apart from the amateurs is how they respond to problems of which this property had many. The most egregious: 1. We booked a Jr...
