Casa de Don Tomas is a very nice hotel. Rooms are not fancy but were clean, comfortable and had what we needed. Breakfast buffet was well presented and, for being in the middle of the desert, nicely done. Later in the day, there is a shady outdoor terrace where you can have drinks, small plates or snacks and recap your...

This hotel proves that a hotel doesn't need to be new or luxurious to be beloved by travellers. It has a winning formula of good management, service and kindness that is palpable. You immediately feel at ease and every member of the staff from the front desk to the cleaning crew have a smile on their faces and are eager...

Stayed for 5 nights, after a lot of travelling. Good location within walking distance to San Pedro. Rooms (and bathrooms) were rather old fashioned but spacious and clean with safety box.No tv, which we didn't realise until we were leaving. There's so much more to see outside! Staff were cheerful, helpful and spoke good English (when our Spanish failed us)....

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. To start with the hotel has a check out time of 1pm which is really good. Big thumbs up for this. The hotel is a 5mins walk from La Caracoles the main street so its really well located. The front desk team was very helpful. They all spoke english:). The rooms were...

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Casa de Don Tomas. The staff were very friendly and cooperative with any requests that we had. The room was large and always kept very clean. We'd be happy to return there any time. The only less than great experience was with the evening meal that we had...

Stayed here for four nights. Very pleasant friendly staff, good location. Nice grounds to relax in, if you weren't going on an all day excursion. Rooms were clean, though basic. Beds were large and comfortable. A little noisy when thoughtless guests were getting up and leaving for tours and banged doors, but can't blame hotel for that.

Excellent location. This hotel is clean, well run and the staff are very attentive. The rooms are clean and have screens on the windows so that they can be opened. There is a fan in the room which makes sleeping very comfortable.

Stayed for 4 nights here, whilst visiting the Atacama desert. Good location within walking distance to San Pedro. Rooms (and bathrooms) were small but clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and varied and we ate in the hotel one night and was pleasantly surprised. Complimentary water, tea and coffee in reception was a nice touch and...

Our room was next to the dining room, a bit noisy and we could not get it changed. The breakfasts were typical but dinner is not advised. We arrived around 10 in complete darkness. The dining room was already closed, so we only ate energy bars.Otherwise, the people who work there are wonderful and its location is good once you...
