Very friendly staff, a nice hotel. We were in Rooms 300 & 301. Both were newly opened rooms and very well appointed. Comfortable beds. The bathroom was very nice. A quiet contemplative spot. The hotel has a few lovely public sitting areas. The pool looked good (for the summer guests!). Good wifi all round. Breakfast good. Very helpful with a...

This place was amazing we arrived and the team at reception were so helpful, we spoke very little Spanish and the desk spoke full English which was a big help. We stayed for 5 nights and did all the attractions, the best one was the lagoons - stunning. Our room was the first one, we had a little balcony which...

We stayed at the Altiplanico for 4 nights recently. It is a very nice hotel, with an understated and casual feel but with really nice amenities. It is located a 10 minute walk from "downtown" San Pedro. Which actually is nice because San Pedro is not a quiet town. Even where the Altiplanico is located, there is a fair amount...

The Altiplanico Atacama hotel was absolute perfection!!! I am so glad I chose the this hotel for my week-long stay in San Pedro de Atacama. It became my home away from home, where I knew I could relax and recover from the many half-day and day-long excursions I was doing in the area. SOLO FEMALE TRAVELLER: I was travelling solo...

Beautifully designed, well managed property on the outskirts of a small, charmless, frontier like town (after the beauty of South Bolivia, Atacama was a bit of a letdown for us). All the rooms are set in very comfortable adobe houses amid beautiful, peaceful gardens with many private spaces and peacocks strutting around. The pool is a bit cold, but clean....

keeping a very typical construction, the hotel offers a high quality and service standards, very nice swimming pool (cool water!) and very kind staff. Breakfast is limited, but the expresso coffee machine woks 24/7. Good choice

Altough we booked the last available room it was very good. It was a small bungalow in a row with other bungalows but on both sides around a metre of free space. So no noise from the neighbours. Spacious sleepingroom, perfect view into the garden. Lots of green so you couldn't even see the swimming pool form the house. Enough...

Lovely helpful staff, pretty gardens, lovely pool area, nice rustic feel and very peaceful. But not a good place to stay unless you have your own car. The walk to town is rough and badly lit after dark and takes at least 15 mins. There is no reliable cab service . As my travel companion was elderly, we ate in...

Pretty much agree with all recent reviews....helpful staff, rustic, authentic charm, swimming pool. We had our own car so could get into town for supper or shopping. The alternative is that you walk...it's 10/15 minutes but when it's dark you need a phone flashlight or a torch. For £150 a night I think the towels should be better quality as...

Really good hotel but with USD 150 per night way too expensive. Nothing was wrong: Clean rooms, good quality, friendly staff. But: 150 USD per night and room. This is way too much for a OK desert resort.
