So at 70 yuan this budget hotel represents good value. The double room we had for 6 nights was small but had tv and aircon . We arrived by bus so was very easy to find the hotel from the bus station , just a 5 min walk, with West Street and all its bars and restaurants just a 10...

We stayed in the West Lily hotel for three nights while travelling through China. It is a well kept hotel with comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms, very helpfull and friendly owners. They went out of their way to help you with anything you needed, tours, bike rental or just general information. Just a 5 minute walk from the main town center,...

At RMB70 a night for 2 of us, it was a real bargain. Its clean and comfortable even though it was a no frills option. Having said that, it is definitely better staying there than at a hostel because of the privacy (including the ensuite bathroom) it afforded. But to me the best thing about the stay was to meet...

For budget travelers, this hotel is a sure shot in Yangshuo. The room is cleaned every day, free wi-fi, hot shower, a/c. Plus, the staff is very helpful and friendly. 5 minutes walking from the bus station. The owner speaks very good english, which is a must when you travel in China without speaking chinese! There is no elevator so...

We spent 3 nights here having been recommended it by our son. The owners made us feel very welcome and were very helpful about booking buses and taxis. The room was fairly basic but had everything we needed and was clean. We had breakfast there one day and it was good. The beds were very hard but that is standard...

I thought the location of this hotel is good - not far from the centre (a pleasant walk), but away from all the night-time noise of Yanshuo. We were on the top floor of the hotel which was quite a haul up the stairs at the end of each day - but okay. The owners were very helpful. We booked...

We stayed here for 2 nights during a Chinese public holiday. The cost was great for what we got and the location even better. It was in Yangshuo town but not on West Street or in that area so it was away from the noise and hectic crowds in the tourist areas. The room was fine for two people, although...

we stayed here for 2 nights in August during our 4 week trip and it was our favourite place. It was a nice cheap room but a good size and very clean. The hotel workers/owners? were extremely friendly and did speak English. I didn;t book directly with them but they emailed me to offer any assistance I might need (only...

Stayed here for 5 nights in Aug 2011, nice clean rooms. Very cheerful staff who could not do enough for you. Great breakfasts. Definately a step up from a hostel with a great location.
