We stayed at the 131 Paotao Road location. (New block??) Nice room with very nice furnishings. Comfortable Bed. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room on the 8th floor. Flat screen TV but no English speaking channels. Nice mini fridge. Nice bathroom, tub with shower with plenty of hot water, but no shower curtain so you... More

I had a fantastic stay here, but our local private guide told us that it's because we were staying in the newer extension block. This is because we traveled off season and there weren't many people staying at the hotel. So be informed and make necessary arrangements to ensure you get to stay at the extension block too. Location: Very... More

First impression was good (quaint)- the lobby- but it was down market from there. Old - needs upgrade. Low rise so no lift. Good sleep, but room shabby. The rooms facing the street overlook an old untidy commercial area with rocky cliff backdrop (not beautiful). One of our group had items stolen from the balcony (easily accessed)

All of the finishings needed update. The lobby was very nice but once you got up to the rooms the wallpaper was brown and peeling, the carpet worn and torn, the elevators old. Breakfast was also the most lacking of all our tour stops. Opened late for a tour hosting hotel, at 7am, and didn't have a lot of Western... More

Stayed one night. Room was fine with good air conditioning and wifi. However, we had to keep our blinds closed as we could have just about reached the house outside our window. Breakfast was awful, and the non-Chinese were directed to eat Ian separate room. Coffee and juice disgusting.

When we entered the hotel lobby, we were really pleased because it was so beautiful. I even stopped and took a picture. We learned there was a free shuttle to a sister hotel close to the downtown area. When we got to the room, we had a balcony that offered us great views and a perfect place to sit and... More

Nearly aging, but still OK if you just sleep through the night. The guest room in fair size, and clean enough. The location is good though, near the minimarket, and local foods. They just need English speaking staff >,<

The hotel is very nice and pintoresque, with beautiful natural views and spacious and clean rooms. The food was ok but not the best from our trip. The thing is Yangshuo is kind of small, so beside from downtown which is a lot of stores, the natural views and this amazing show in one of the city theaters, there's not... More

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights during the golden week and paid over 900 RMB which was probably 4 times what it is worth. This hotel is really bad. We booked a mountain view luxury non smoking room. The mountain view was actually a view on a junk yard close to the mountain. See picture. Although booked non smoking rooms... More

Situated right in the town area, west street is just nearby. For China standard the hotel is OK. International plugs are available in the rooms. We had our dinner at the hotel. For the 2 of us they gave us a good dinner with one chicken dish, one fish, 2 vegetables and a soup. Very generous.

Thank yming
