My wife and I stayed here for a conference I was attending. All of the public meeting spaces were clean and modern looking and that all worked very well. The food was quite good too. Unfortunately, the room itself smelled like mildew. Everything looked nice, but the paint on the ceiling of the bathroom was peeling and my wife and...

We love staying at the Westin when visiting family in Birmingham. The rooms are large and very clean. There are lots of restaurant choices near the hotel and we love the pool. We will return and I recommend the Westin.

This hotel had the best food I have ever experienced at a hotel. The ballroom was enormous! I also saw the reigning heavyweight boxing champion of the world. Rooms were spacious clean and smelled really good -- like lavender. Conveniently located in the downtown section of Birmingham near UAB

I can't believe that this hotel charges the rates that it does! It was so nice having an outdoor swimming pool but that's about where it ended. When I got into my room the alarm clock was full of dust underneath of the bathroom sink with bunches of hair and you can see in the shower stall where the handle...

This hotel is located in a bad neighborhood right next to the interstate. It is connected to an obviously ageing Sheraton branded hotel. From entering, the Valet was rude and argumentative. There was no bell staff to assist us unloading our luggage for 3 adults and 2 children. When we finally reached the front desk, we had to wait for...

Don't get my wrong if I have to stay at a hotel in Birmingham, I am still saying here. However, I've stayed here quite a few times and I've noticed on my last two visits that things have gotten a little lax. Some of the furnishings are visibly worn and the showers desperately need to be deep cleaned. Both times...

Decided to get out of town and visit Birmingham for a last minute day trip. Walked in without a reservation and was greeted by a very pleasant front desk attendant (wish I could recall his name). He offered me a reasonable rate and asked my room preference. We were placed in a corner unit on a high floor with a...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Westin in Birmingham. The customer service was spectacular from the front desk all the way to the housekeeping and restaurant. I love the modern look along with the amenities directly outside of the hotel lobby. Restaurants are within walking distance along with the convention center which actually has a catwalk where you can...

This is a luxury hotel- the room looks newly renovated and the beds are super comfy!! The sheets are very soft and the comforters are plush. The bathroom is roomy and modern with a rain shower. The workout room is well appointed. The pool is outside on the 2nd floor, not the roof as some listings show. It's small and...

The Hotel was beautiful. I was there for a meeting. The area around Hotel is all new, several restaurants and bars. It is around downtown area. I would like to go back for a weekend trip. The staff was super friendly, and restaurant in hotel was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was excellent.
