This hotel was very colourful and entering the foyer was very appealing. Our room was quite good, with a reasonable bathroom. We ate in, and had a buffet meal which proved filling and tasty. Wifi was good. The hotel is quite central to the city which enabled us to have a pleasant evening stroll to buy ice-creams and wine (not...

Nice rooms, ok breakfast, but they had important people staying at the time so we were in a room on our own, nice scones, not very hot dinner, however we believe the Tibetans like warm food not hot. Had a bit of altitude sickness, so asked for the Blind Massage Reflexology treatment - they were so quick, getting a taxi...

Although our tour organisers told us they’d used this hotel for some time we found it far from satisfactory. When we arrived around 7pm we were offered a buffet meal that had clearly been cooked some time before and then partly reheated with all the attendant health risks. There were no serviette’s available and for some reason we weren't allowed...

Old fashioned feel to the place but has good WiFi. No problems with anything but nothing to get enthusiastic about either. About 15 minutes walk to main downtown area and another 10 to the Tibetan market

Staffs are friendly, bed is alright for 3 nights stay. No complaint compare to the Mandala Hotel in Lhasa is so much worse in every thing. This is the choice of the Tibet tour so just take it happily then.

We had one night stay here on a tour of Tibet. It was a good location for walking around town. Bed was hard but similar to other places on the trip. The room was clean and comfortable, food not to our taste but we had grown to expect this and we did not go hungry! Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Beds are hard, felt like I was sleeping on a billiard table. The service is good, staff friendly and pleasant. Rooms need a make over but were adequate. Breakfast was ok but not great. Wifi not good in the rooms but ok in lobby.

Situated on the edge of the city the immediate neighbourhood is less than grand. The hotel itself looks nice enough from the outside. Inside the ceiling shows a formidable painting. The restaurant, where breakfast is served, is a large, splendidly decorated banquet hall. A definite must-see! The quality of the breakfast was very good. The room was very clean and...

Very impressive lobby. Rooms a little careworn but contained all the amenities you require. The beds are a little firm for comfort, so I put some of the spare bedding on the mattress to make it more comfortable. The food was adequate & plentiful. The staff were friendly & helpful Wifi not too good in the room but OK in...

The hotel is quite comfortable, and service was prompt and friendly. The beds are rather hard so be warned! Breakfast consisted of a lot of food but some of it was rather foreign to non Tibetan palates.Wifi connection was good in the lobby, less so in the rooms. The hotel is situated in the Chinese part of town, so on...
