The hotel is next to a museum which explains how water is transported under the ground by the tunnels. However the hotel is very average and service is limited. Anyway it is nice to stay in the silk road. Breakfast is terrible.

I only recognized this hotel from the photos and the location. In May 2014, it was called the Karez Hote, yes, with the L missing. This should have given us an indication of its lack of maintenance. Management needs to shape up! They did not...More

clean hotel with a very good location, unfortunately also this hotel is not ready to welcome international guests because nobody speaks or understands one word of English and the restaurant only provides typical Chinese breakfast
