Me and my partner recently visited here for a holiday, When we arrived given our room key and we found that there were ants in the bed sheets, so we told them and nothing was done about it, so we cleaned the bed ourselves as no one came. We had issues with the food everyday, it was pretty much the same food, only 7/8 options to choose from and 1 of them always being chips and sometimes there was 2 stations for chips meaning there was even less choice. We disliked the quality of the hard stale food that was available that much that we decided to eat out most days, as even the drink selection was very limited often running out of drinks. Then the problems slowly began getting worse, we told the cleaner at the door one day and she didn't say anything. We were literally infested with bugs to the point you could move without stepping on them. It was horrible. And the hotel tried to blame us as we bought food home on our 4th night and they claimed that is why there was an infestation, however we had one the whole time. The pictures I will upload are all the ones from the first day as the hotel called us liars and said they didn't care or want to see our pictures. Also one night my partner was having quite a bad panic attack in our room, and it did cause some noise to which the hotel sent a security guard to shine a flashlight through our window not even knock on the door and tell us in his words "to shut up and be quiet" when I was explaining to him I needed help and told him what was going on, and he just kept saying be quiet shut up. When we tried to complain to the hotel more we demanded we get another room due to the bugs. Instead they sent the cleaner to sort it, all she did was tell us off for having food in the room that we bought ourselves, and then took the old bed sheets off replaced them with new ones and spray bug spray and left. When we went back we realised all she did was put fresh bed sheet on top of the infestation of ants. So we asked for another room and when we went into it that room still had ants everywhere. And then they had the nerve to tell us that they sent 3 employees to check our old room and couldn't find a single ant. Which was hard to believe as we took more pictures and there were hundreds of dead ants all over the floor and bathroom. When we tried to complain with the company we booked with the hotel just continuously said that we were lying and caused the infestation ourselves. Overall I am extremely dissatisfied with my trip and will be taking my complaints further until I am compensated for at least part of my trip.

After few month without see my boyfriend, we decide to meet us in Croatia, we had not a clare plan so we take the first place that we found close to the beach, just waiting take sun... Our surprise.. The people who work there, at the pool, in the restaurant, all of them are amazing, we loved them service, specially a guy with blue eyes who works in the restaurant, go with him if you want more food and one nice smile everyday 😊, a beautiful lady who always cleaned our table for eat more and more and more, and the guys in the bar at the pool who memorized our drinks with extra vodka (I recommend coctel BONACA), thanks so much, and sorry for my bad English, but I just wanted to express our happiness in your hotel.

We had good time. Only stayed 4/5 nights here & booked independently. Didn’t realise it was mostly used by ( 99% ) French guests & therefore entertainment was in French. Kids would have liked to have made more friends around the pool but don’t know any and mine is very limited. Despite most reps speaking French, Dora spoke English and helped our kids with kids club & we enjoyed cycling with her to the beach. Thank you Dora for looking after us 😀 the food was good and we enjoyed the facilities & our family room was great, suited our needs. Not far from Zlanti Rat, amazing beach.

This was our second visit to the hotel so we knew about the entertainment being in french - which didn’t bother us. However this year the french ‘entertainnent’ Team played techno music at full volume around the pool for most of the day, it was more suited to an 18-30 type holiday not a family hotel with children and older people it’s main customers. It was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you and it was impossible to listen to your own personal music. So Each day we were around the pool we went to their little hut and asked them to turn it down. Often they would be shut inside the hut dancing as if they were in a night club totally oblivious to the guests outside. They would sometimes pretend they didn’t understand me, but finally after making a formal complaint to Lisa the fabulous TUI rep and to hotel reception they seemed to respond to our requests. That was our only complaint about the hotel. The food and drinks were great. Rooms spotless and the hotel is situated just a short stroll from lovely Bol in one direction and the famous beach in the other direction. We plan to return to this hotel next year but only if we can confirm that the daily ‘entertainnent’ has been changed to something more suitable for the clientele. Please take note TUI - your Club Marmara entertainment team are spoiling a really good hotel
