We are a family of 4 +1 friend & had booked apartment A2 for a week. The villa is more like a hostel, with large groups of rowdy party people oblivious to other guests, so if you think The Inbetweeners movie looked like a fun trip you'll love this place. For us we lasted one night before checking out. The...

To start with the positives we had a studio room that was very basic but was clean and the view over the sea was fantastic but sadly that is all the positives. The hotel was more hostel like than hotel with a number of large noisy groups that could be heard through the thin walls. We were regularly woken up...

We are a group of 8 girls in our twenties and stayed in apartment A4 for our summer holiday in Hvar. Villa Maja was pretty much perfect for what we wanted - which was a relaxed but fun holiday altogether, with the option of going out in the evenings when we wanted. The apartment is located a 10 minute walk...

It was a bit confusing to book the apartments through Internet as the Villa Maja shows up on multiple web-sites with different information. We thought we should get a big "penthouse" apartment for 4 adults and 4 kids, but ended up with 2 separate apartments on the 2nd floor. We got this information the week before arrival, so it was...

Hvar is one of the priciest places in Croatia and while this place wasn't cheap, the rooms seemed clean and contemporary. We were really disappointed. There is air con and a pool (tiny, tiny) which is what reflects the mark up. Everything else is substandard. There was enough dust underneath our bed to build a castle with. I mean piles...

Found these apartments as they were very reasonably priced for Hvar. The room (studio 3) was very spacious and more than adequate for the 3 nights we stayed. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the balcony and the view of the sea. The bathroom was decorated very colourfully but there was a strange smell there for the duration...

First room the bed was broken. Replacement room was better. Not a bad location but its a room with a bathroom and telly and air con. No change of towels or bed clothes in 4 days. Or toilet roll. When we checked out the owner was quiet rude. Even though we had a broken bed and couldnt sleep the first...

Stayed at Villa Maja in a group of 16 girls for a hen weekend, we had 4 apartments between us (2 rooms of 3 people, and 2 rooms of 5 people). All were clean & stocked with kitchen facilities, but the smaller rooms seemed to have more modern bathrooms & nice big showers. One of our rooms had bunk beds...

The first half of our stay we lived in a studio flat on the 1.floor. Light, fresh and modern room with small kitchencorner with everything you need, and a balcony with excellent view over the ocean and the towncentre below. Nice apartment, but a bit small for a family with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. (however OK size for 3...

“We stayed 3 nights in the apartments at the 2nd floow and 4 nights on the 3rd floor. The 2nd floor apartments are okay for a family of 4 and the 3rd floor apartments are more than big enough. If you are 4 people and are offered apartments on the 2nd floor, you should try to get the one to the right when you get up the stairs.”
