We stayed here for 2 nights on a trip between Dubrovnik and Split....I wish we had stayed longer.

We just completed the identical trip. The catamaran ferry docks (walking distance to Korsal, and they will drop you off when departing if you wish) at Korcula from Split and runs on to Dubrovnik. Check out website krilo.hr for ferry. While on Korcula check out Servantes for some good 60-70’s blues after 9pm. Visiting wineries is good rainy day activity.
