House Nina is an amazing place, everything about my stay was perfect. The rooms are tidy, clean and new. The area is very well kept in the middle of the nature. Last but not least, Nina is a super host, she gave us plenty of recommendations for park visit, restaurants and other things to do/see. What else to say, if you’re looking for a relaxing place to spend some days in Plitvice and visit the national park house Nina is a MUST! Will definitely recommend it to all my friends and visit it again in the future!

So we only stayed one night at house nina, and were charmed by the place and her dogs. The Room was perfect, spotlessly clean and incredible value. Upon arrival Nina gave us a briefing on the best things to see and how to get the best of the National Park and where to eat ect.
If you are after unbelievable value for money then please stay here, you won't be disappointed.

We stayed at House Nina for our visit of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Nina is extremely friendly and had good tips for the visit of the National Park. The room was small but comfortable, only the bath was a bit too small for us: the toilet was so close to the sink that we had to sit sideways. The house and the garden around the house are very beautiful and lovingly arranged.

This cozy little B&B is located a stone's throw from Plitvice Lakes National Park. Nina and her husband have a lovely complex of cottages and fruit trees with a stunning view of the forest. I expected Peter and the wolf to show up any moment. Everything was immaculate and charming. The geraniums and dahlias were in bloom and the apple and plum trees were absolutely loaded with fruit.. Nina was very informative about the park and surrounding countryside. Do be aware that she doesn't take credit cards, there is no elevator or special needs access, and although she suggests that you arrive at the park at 7, she does not start serving breakfast u til 7:30. Also, shower was tiny.

We loved staying at Nina’s. Not only were our rooms very nice, but Nina had info for us about visiting the park which was very helpful. We didn’t find it difficult to find her at all. And the breakfast was fabulous-more than we could have hoped for. We highly recommend House Nina!

You will find House Nina in a very quiet neighbourhood and the end of a small road. Lovely gardens and an impressive lot of flowers and plants around the house. As much flowers there are, as much attention you will get from "the lady off the house". Nothing is to much for her. The stay is without breakfast, but will be served as you ask for it. If you do, you will not be disappointed: it is great. From the house it is about 4 km to the third entrance of the Plivitce Lakes (free parking in the woods).
The rooms are big enough and have a refrigerator. You will sleep very well as you turn off the switch. In the evening you can sit on several spots around the house and gardens to enjoy the quiet of the evening. Meet the other guests and get acquainted. Or chat to the lady. She really wants to know eveything of your country and the way people lives there.

As people have noted, this is a great retreat from the crowds of Plitvice National Park. We drove up in the morning from Bled, went straight to the Park, got some Kuna at an ATM right at the park, saw all upper and lower lakes/waterfalls. What a beautiful day! We were a little leery about lodging in a local apartment' not sure what we'd find. NINA'S cottages are BEAUTIFUL! Sparkling clean, plenty of hot water for shower, small rooms but perfectly comfortable for two. Someone had criticized the sheets--BUNK! Slept like a baby without waking up once. Others complain about the food--BUNK! Talk tyo Nina about the history, the people, the countryside and the place to eat. We ate at a restaurant/bar/motel and since the restaurant was sao crowded with tourists we had a phenomenal dinner in the "bar." It's a beautiful, elegant restaurant with fantastic food choices and the best prices we found in Croatia. You can only find these places off the beaten path.

When visiting the Plitvice Lakes National Park do yourself a favour and stay in one of the small villages instead of the hotel at the park entrance. We choose to stay at House Nina and loved it. It was harvest time and we could even pick fresh fruit from the trees. The village is so small there are no streets just house numbers and warning they are not in numerical order. I have posted a picture, when you see this sign, this is where you turn to find House Nina, she is house #2, her sign is just down the road from this sign. The drive to the park is about 10-15 minutes, it was busy in September so Nina recommended we get there at the opening at 7am. Nina was not able to provide breakfast when we were there so we had breakfast at the restaurant outside entrance 2. I recommend starting from this entrance, the sun was in the perfect position to get the best pictures in the morning. For dinner its an easy walk down the road to house #3 where you can have a wonderful meal. We had the steak with mushroom sauce the first night and pre-ordered the lamb speciality the second night, both were delicious. Room was small but had everything you would need. We were on the second floor so you have to carry your luggage up some stairs. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Nina will provide you with everything you need to know. Parking is free.

We had a little bit of a difficult time finding the turnoff for House Nina (we drove past it twice before noticing it at the bottom of a second set of signs a bit removed from another cluster of signs).

Nina greets you with warmth and helpfulness; she also gives valuable insight into planning the Plitvice trip that best suits your needs. As per her advice, we went on Tour C for a 4-6 hour trip around the lakes and falls.

The dogs greeted us with inspecting sniffs. Once initial introductions are over, they happily turn over, ready for belly rubs!

Our room was clean with the feeling of a cozy log cabin- comfy bed and soft bath towels. Only hand soap is provided, so be sure to bring your other toiletries!

Unlike some other reviewers my sat nav had no trouble finding Nina's place, but it had sent us on a mad scary adventure earlier in the day (follow the signs people!) So, we arrived later than planned and utterly frazzled to a very warm friendly welcome by the lovely Nina and her sweet dogs. She took us through where to go to dinner, and how to best plan our short trip to Plitvice and beat the crowds. She was absolutely right and we had a wonderful day! Her place is lovely - pretty, peaceful, modern and spotlessly clean, and in a great location for the lakes. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I can't recommend it highly enough!
