My wife and I spent 2 wonderful nights at La Posada del Quinde. The rooms are cozy, clean, and quiet. All of them open out onto a large beautiful, pastoral courtyard. The breakfasts, which are included in the price of the rooms, are marvelous. My wife chose the fresh fruit, and yogurt--all that healthy stuff. I always went for the...

Our mission trip group stayed at the Posada del Quinde in January. We had over 25 people in the mission group and the hotel staff was very accommodating and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel staff cooked our meals for breakfast and dinner. We have a lot of vegetarians in the group, so the hotel's menu provided...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this quaint Mountain Hotel. The location was very convenient to many of the local sights. The rooms were sparsely furnished but extremely clean with comfortable bedding....no television but the free wi-fi worked well. The Lobby was delightful with a cozy fire in the evening and very nice seating areas. The food in the restaurant...

We were starting out on a long journey through South America, and this was our first real place to "perch" and explore. Our wonderful driver, Henry, from the hotel, took us up into the mountains, and was so patient while we hiked, visited local weavers, and shopped. The room was spacious and very clean. I'd go back in a heartbeat....

This hotel is a good place to camp when exploring Otavalo and the surrounding areas. Our room was clean and spacious. We rented one of the suites, which had three double beds and one single bed along with a kitchen, bath, dining area and living room set up. The windows were large and the view of the mountains and gardens...

This hotel was the first stop on our first vacation in Ecuador. We stayed a few days and enjoyed it thoroughly. We would definitely return again. Some highlights. Maggie, the owner, and the staff are all incredibly helpful. It felt almost more like a BnB they were so attentive. The building, rooms, and grounds are all beautiful. The setting was...

We loved this place! Maggie, the owner, is the reason it goes from being just a nice hotel to being a warm, welcoming stay. We had three nights here and Maggie would periodically check in with us while we were eating or hanging out in the lobby. When she checked in about our plans, she was also ready with suggestions...

I spent one day at this hotel as part of my visit to the Otavalo market on Saturday. it is a very pleasant and quaint hotel managed and operated by great staff. It felt like an oasis away from the surrounding neighborhoods. My room was a bit small but clean and nice. It is very close to the animal market,...

I stayed here with my parents for just one night. We all loved the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. Everyone was so accommodating and made our stay very easy. Susy and Maggie helped us arrange our visits to some of the tourists sites. The food in the restaurant was excellent and we ended up eating almost every...

Super nice place in Otavalo! Arrived on Friday night after long travels from Mindo and felt really welcome immediately. Cosy live performance of musicians in the dining area and good selection of healthy food! The courtyard is very nice to catch a little sun and the fireplace is great to hang out at night. I liked Otavalo a lot too,...
