I recently stayed at this hotel for two non-consecutive nights whilst travelling with my sister. On the first occasion, we arrived early, prior to the specified check-in time. None the less, we were welcomed and shown to a room. Our standard twin was not ready, but we were invited to use the junior twin suite overnight (at no extra cost)....

Pick this place, nothing else. Rooms are comfortable, modern and cozy! I loved the afternoon tea in a teapot brought too my room. Sooo nice! Hint: it is not super easy to spot, know the location and phone number before you go. Hair dryer upon request. Kitchen available but they can arrange some food delivery where you choose from the...

Very nice and quiet hotel at an affordable price... I visited Riobamba for a MTB race and I had a restful night... This attractive, quiet and secure guesthouse is located outside the center of town. Taxis consistently cost us over $2 each way to the train station, which is at the beginning of the historic center. Our room was spacious and had sufficient furniture to set things out, as well as a table and chairs. The bed was quite firm. There was...

My husband and I went to Riobamba for a bike race during the weekend and since the travelling time from Quito is around 4 hours, we decided to travel on Friday night to rest on Saturday. Since we went to Riobamba during the city's independence festivities, we needed a place far away from the noise in order to rest. This...

My friends and I stayed at Rincon Aleman for one month in conjunction with a Spanish immersion program in Riobamba. Rincon Aleman was an absolutely wonderful place to stay- Elena has modeled the property so that you feel you're in a European cottage, and can breath in fresh air and the scent of flowers (which cover the property). Our rooms...

Friendly owner. Nice rooms. Very good place. She also arranged pizza for us so we didn't had to leave the room. Slept for 1 night at a very good and big room. We would have liked it to be longer but we had to go on to our next tour.

Riobamba is often nicknamed the Sultan of the Andes. And the Sultan has a beautiful gem hidden in the outskirts of town, el Rincón Aleman. You won't find a better place to stay in Riobamba, nor a more friendly and caring host than Elena. You will feel at home instantly in this well maintained, relaxed, clean and quiet hotel with...
