I stayed at the Oasis Beach resort for one night, during a business trip. The rooms and the restaurant are very basic. So is the pool, and there is de facto little beach because of the strong waves. It is probably the best hotel in town, but given the service and quality of the room, it is definitely overpriced.

The entire setting is lovely. Just had a few issues with restaurant service and cleaning of the rooms. Dormitories get really warm sometimes. If some could have air conditioning would be great. Aside that I enjoyed my stay. The beach was beautiful and the fisherfolk are nice people.

Staff is friendly and they have a specials board. I can really recommend this place. You will meet locals and international folks and also have the choice between the local dishes and more western orientated food like stoneoven pizza and hamburgers. The room was good value and they have solar heated showers. What else do you want?

Room There were 4 in our group so we asked for a room that could accommodate us. We were given the family room, being promised 1 double bed and 1 double sized sofa bed with and extra mattress for comfort. Once we arrived there was 1 queen sized bed and one single sofa bed, and a double mattress to put...

I visited here whilst travelling across Ghana. We did not book but saw this place and even though it looked way out of our price range we decided to go ahead and ask what the nightly rate was. It was only 20GHC a night (about £4) so we stayed for three nights. The dorm was great, waking up and being...

I was there for Three nights but I could not stay more than one night, although the design, the atmosphere and the sea were nice but from sunset mosquitoes control the area, they have mosquito net on all beds but still couldn't sleep, in the morning wanted to take shower but I found a black spider inside. The view of...

Very affordable accommodation - 20GHC for a dorm (not too big, clean) and can also get private rooms. It's right on the beach - you can hear the waves from the rooms. And you can walk along the beach to visit Cape Coast castle, which is really worth a visit. I stayed here alone and had a great time, as...

Stayed here three separate occasions for multiple days each time. Experience and perspective follow: Location: Fantastic. On the beach, close to the castle. 10-15 minute walk to center of town. Walking to and from town after dark is discouraged but taxis are available. Accommodation: A variety of accommodation options are available which span a range of prices. On the low...
