Posada Arco Iris is a paradise, jungle getaway. Wonderful, attentive professional staff. The rooms are located in a beautiful garden setting, steps from the sea. The attached restaurant has delicious local food as well as Argentinian specialties. On site dive shop. Cannot say enough kind words regarding the staff. Everyone from the groundskeepers , housekeepers and especially the management go above and beyond to ensure a great stay. It's like staying in Tarzan's jungle house. A true delight!!!

The hotel is nicely situated and the room (1 bedroom with 2 double beds and kitchenette) was very nice. You can't tell from the photos, but one double bed is in the bedroom and the other is in the main room. This gives you a little extra privacy. The internet was terrible, very weak upstairs where we were. They do not provide drinking water, though you can order (and have delivered) a 5-gallon jug. But be prepared to bring your own pump or just tip it over as there is no holder or mechanism to dispense. On the upside, they have kayaks for guests to use within the bay for free. They have some lounge chairs as well. So all in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Came to the lobby with my shoes on, realized I didn’t have them Until the last night I stayed at the hotel. I left the island without shoes. Looked everywhere for them and the staff at the lobby were quite rude and even threatening with their tone when I asked for the surveillance footage to be reviewed.

First of all Karolina is the best with communicating with you. Very prompt and courteous. If you like quiet and quaint, this is the place for you. The location is walkable to everything, restaurants, stores, bars snorkeling... restaurant on site and the beach is located just steps in front.

Ours was a very basic room with one double and one twin bed, both comfortable.. Air conditioning, a small refrigerator, clean. Shared deck with a table and 2 chairs for each unit, which we used a lot to drink the inexpensive beer from the grocery store next door. 1 minute walk across the street to a great beach, half moon bay. Bring earplugs as West End is noisy, lots of barking dogs at night.

Clean comfy rooms. Wood floors. Small fridge. Free clean cold drinking water to get you stated. Windows that close and hold out the noise (St. Patrick's Day) of a bar band. Like that my room came with a little porch and hammock. Fair prices. Nice staff. Out door shower for the times you return from the beach sandy and salty. Set back off the street so quiet. But walk to stores, bars, the beach, great places to eat and short walk to catch a cab at the round about. Great place.

We are repeat guests with this being our 4th stay at Hotel Posada Arco Iris but felt we needed to review again as its our first visit since the pandemic when we had to return home part way through our stay. The hotel is still providing the excellent accommodation and facilities that we are used to and expected, yes it is not a high end hotel but what it is, is a genuine experience. We chose a sea view room this time and whilst this does not come with a small kitchenette we were able to make a cup of coffee or tea. The room was large, airy and clean, and it was great to sit on the balcony in the setting sun. The jewel in the crown of the Posada Arco Iris is the staff, from reception to those that have the thankless task of cleaning they are all so friendly and helpful. We used the restaurant [Argentinian Grill] several times during our stay and again the staff are what make this place the best experience possible in addition to the great food available. Already booking for 2024 and would highly recommend this hotel for those looking for a fine hotel in a great location with genuinely nice staff.

Omg I loved this place. The rooms were clean and had great AC. We had the kitchenette which was perfect for cooking fish we caught on tours. We had a big group of 11 people and we each got our own place. The hotel has a good restaurant with really nice staff. It is in front of the half moon bay with complimentary kayaks. There is tons of different food options with in walking distance of the hotel. Skip sundowners and walk to cannibal cafe, cheap food and beer. We loved our stay and would highly recommend the hotel! Thanks Posada!

Perfect for a 3 star hotel. Great location close to the dive shops. We wanted a 3 star feel…to be a bit more rustic and feel very “local” and it for just that. Average bed - not great but not bad. Read reviews before booking and all seemed pretty on par… some towels were very worn yet others were good quality. So ya, a good 3 star place. Shower pressure not great but as my boyfriend would say, at least the tiles were pretty ha! Elvia at the Argentina bar was amazing - great service, great personality, would totally recommend for a stay if your aim is to dive all day.

We stayed here on the recommendations from our local dive shop. It is a great West End location to the dive shops and the beach is across the street but the hotel only offers basic no frill accommodations. The kitchenette included a tiny old propane stove, sink and small fridge. The room and bath area is very dated but we all agreed the beds were comfortable. I'd give the location 5 stars, hotel 2 stars, and staff 4 stars so the average is 3.6 or 4 stars. The restaurant next door is amazing and guests get a discount too. I have hearing aids so I slept well but my wife and the other couple complained about loud dogs barking and a noisy rooster. They used ear plugs and slept better. The price per room is the same as other similar west end hotels (very reasonable) so to get a nicer hotel room expect to pay 50% to 100% more.
