was visiting the Golden Temple from USA. this was a great experience. I booked online direct with them for a group of friends- they made the experience so easy. The hotel is elegant with superb public places, it appears like a home. food was superb. We were planning to go out to eat the famous Amritsar street food but decided... More

This is a little jewel of a hotel in Amritsar. It used to be the home of a wealthy Indian family now converted to a 20 room hotel. The rooms are spread out in buildings connected by wide walkways and stairs. There are lounge areas everywhere. They are very “organic”. Incense burns in the public rooms, but not in the... More

If you're okay staying away from the hustling Golden Temple area then this is a great place to stay. It's about 4 kms away, we were OK with that since we only wanted to visit the temple once. Cycle rickshaws were our main mode of transport and easy to spot on the road just outside. The property itself is beautiful,... More

Pleasant hotel close to the Golden Temple. Rooms large, clean and comfortable, breakfast adequate tho not extensive. Staff helpful, food tasty but limited menu. Little of interest in walking distance, so a taxi will be needed for trips.

We had a very memorable stay at this beautiful Haveli which is run very professionally, but still manages to seamlessly be very warm & personal like a perfect Homestay. Our 7yr old daughter felt so much at home with the friendly staff & especially the charming Young couple that runs this amazing establishment with so much of pride & enthusiasm...... More

We enjoyed our time here, as the hotel has a charming atmosphere. There were some minor issues (kettle was missing, wifi is not working well in the room, room could do with some re-painting), but in general, we had a comfortable stay (albeit at a high price). The welcome was really warm and welcoming, staff was very friendly, breakfast was... More

Lots of character and charm, an oasis of peace in Amritsar. Rooms very old traditional, but all modern amenieties. An old palace saved from decay and converted to a hotel. If you want chrome and marble modern hotels don't stay here, but if you want peace, quiet and the company of pleasant like minded guests you will find the Svaasa... More

Ambience of hotel is very relaxing and full of greens around. I had spent couple of days with family here. Very mystique/heritage architecture. Saw many foreign travellers nestled here for longer duration. If one is looking at vintage and budget option, this is the place. Highly Recommended.

Ranjit's Svaasa was probably the best hotel we stayed in during our holiday to north-west India; it was certainly the most atmospheric. Amritsar is a very large, noisy and frantic city, which comes as a bit of a shock to the newly arrived foreigner. So for the few days we were there it was a welcome reilef to come back... More
