The buildings were beautiful but our room was very basic with no window.  We were woken up by a mosquito and a rat at night. It was noisy in the morning, as the room was close to a busy street. Food was nice and the hotel manager had a delightful enthusiasm for the city palace and the town.  WiFi in...

I believe that this place used to be a royal hunting lodge. There are some hunting trophies in the dining room to attest to it. The food was tasty. The room was very quaint with a decorative table and chairs, and hot water was available. Unfortunately, the wifi only worked in the lobby area, and they turned out the lights...

Nice grounds with a touch of greenery and the odd bird, butterfly or squirrel flitting about. Rooms were decent. Service was good. I didn't love the restaurant decore but the food was good and that's what's important. I'd happily stay here again.

This place is a little oasis in a bustling town. It is a traditional building surrounding a lovely garden with seating areas to hang out in. The rooms are simple but well apportioned and doors open onto the garden. Easy walk into the centre of town and up to the Palace.

Rather remote from the main attractions and organised around small group tours with easy bus access and parking. Quiet attractive gardens for relaxing Nice rooms, but wifi only by reception. Rather claustrophobic dining room complete with hunting trophies

Loved this place. Beautiful courtyard and nice rooms with lots of character. We were here when the banks opened after the currency. Jogi and our tour leader managed to get us to a local bank on tuk tuks. The hotel photocopied all,our passports which we needed to exchange our old currency. Afterwards jogi took us to Bundi palace. Stayed on a group tour. Room OK but nothing special. rather liked the colonial style building. A bit of hike out of the centre of the town so easier to eat in hotel. Again food OK but not outstanding. Wifi only in Lobby

This is a hotel with interesting historical associations as it was built in the 1920s by the local Maharajah as a guest house and it contains some unusual artefacts. This hotel is well run with terrific staff. We arrived late on the main Diwali night and the staff put on a fireworks display on the roof and in the street. Great fun! The breakfast and lunch were excellent and reasonably priced.

Attention and service given by the manager were excellent. He was untiring in explaining dishes and directing the waiters. He was also our very knowledgeable and charming guide to the palace and through the old city. The dining room is a showpiece of colonial history. A wonderful place to stay.
