The hotel is situated in the migratory path of the elephants with a water stream passing through the property. Vinod, the person in charge of the place was very friendly and we had many good conversations along with giving us information about the elephants, organic farming and coffee plantation. At the restaurant you can actually choose a dish and, they...

Hotel is in the middle of the forest and it was a pleasant beauty in the valley. Rooms looks like old, but bathrooms were clean. No room service or TV or any Coffee maker in rooms. Trekking will be very good in the mountains. Grown up kids will enjoy, but difficult to manage with small kids.Limited mobile networks are there...

The Elephant Valley is a place to connect back to nature. If you are looking for modern city or opulent kind of resort feeling, this may not be the place for you, but they do have well equipped rooms. You will be provided with fresh linen and towels but you will not have a tea maker or an iron or...

My daughter and I visited Elephant Valley near Kodaikkanal for 3N/4D in October. It proved an outstanding short-vacation. Vinoth, the manager, was very helpful, and got our cottage upgraded without any extra cost. After the first day, we were the only guests in the property. Our trekking guide, Madasamy, was excellent and got us to learn so much about the...

We stayed in Adventure rooms. We had booked all the 3 rooms, so the whole place was to ourselves. The restaurant and Reception was at some distance to walk for the food, which we had no problem. Because it just gave us the space and peace of mind. We could be ourselves. The food was also good. The flowing stream,...

This place is about 20 KM before Kodaikanal, in a valley. The resort is spread out in a large area with hills and a natural water stream flowing through the resort. The cottages are beautifully designed, keeping comfort, aesthetics and nature in mind. This is a perfect getaway if you want to cut off from the world for a few...

This property isn't actually at Kodaikanal but about 15 kms from it. They have some very unique rooms by way of cottages or tents. The kitchen offers lovely food and quite a bit of variety. Ask for a walking tour of the property, you won't regret the exercise :) The only negative would be the bumpy road leading up to the...

I purely decided this place to stay for Kodaikanal trip based on reviews. I before hand knew about the challenges we face while at stay and was well prepared to make it a pleasant trip. we were also lucky to spot 3 elephants which is not very common I heard in the day time. I give 3 stars for few...

Elephant valley is the last settlement on the border of the National Forest which extends into wildlife sanctuaries of Kerala.
