I've been looking forward to staying here for a long time! The reviews have been mixed, but this review is coming from a long time traveler, look at how many reviews I have. I have been around the world, and Thailand is one of my...More
We first visited this place about 11 years ago (before TripAdvisor) and had a lovely evening. I think it was called Wally's at the time after the eponymous owner. We spent the evening eating, drinking and chatting to Wally, his wife and a family that...More
If you have done your homework, then you will know what to expect: a cluster of huts and bungalows in the middle of the jungle and a 5 mins walk from the nearest beach, power provided by a generator (that sometimes opts out), no hot...More
The resort's name is displaced and misleading, in my opinion, for I didn't see any positive aspects there.
There is no good value for the money. I paid 900 Baht for a single room (no bungalow) and it was probably the worst room they have....More

i have only an experience with the previous owner, Wally, who passes away.

Trang airport is better- if you booked your accommodation, you can ask them to help you. Basically you have 2 options 1/ take a shared transport- I think it's 1or 2x a day, with the pick up from airport and Trang city, they will drive you to Kangtang pier (approx 35 minutes), and then transfer you to a boat to Ko Kradan - cca 45 minutes boat ride. The cost is somewhere around 500 TB per person (was 2 years ago)
2/ if your flight arrives at times that do not match the public transport, you can still get to Ko Kradan, by the private transport, that your accommodation should be able to organize, price is higher.
Krabi- you would have to either take a taxi to Trang or a bus from the Krabi bus station to Krabi town, then have a travel agent organize a tranport to Ko Kradan
