We got a screamingly good deal for this resort on Agoda. We paid $35 per room, per night for two rooms for a total of about $70 per night without breakfast. The resort has three pools, though only two were really operational, a restaurant, and a sandy beach. The beach would not be appropriate for young children as the waves...

Very good location on the most beautiful beach of the island. Don't miss the sunset around 6pm in November Drawbacks: 1. Windows can't be opened, 2. Cameras very well hidden but everywhere like you are in jail! 3. Free Wifi only at reception

This is the type of resort that would have been good 10 years ago. We stayed 3 nights, and were upgraded to a superior room with free breakfast. The bungalows are clean, however could do with a re-vamp. The bathroom is a bit run-down with evidence of mould in the shower. The beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was disgusting -...

Stayed at Nakara for 3 nights, we had booked a basic room but was upgraded free of charge on arrival. The location is excellent, it sits right on Koh Lanta's long beach. The bungalow itself was great - clean, good size, big shower in a Western style bathroom. We found the staff really helpful - arranged a day trip elephant...

Good location right on Long Beach, we had a pleasant stay however the restaurant staff could have been a little more interested in serving the customer rather than it appearing to be a chore, we did feed this back to the reception staff who were very helpful. If the management address the staff issue this would be a perfect place...

We got a screaming deal on this place and then they upgraded us from a standard to a superior - it was awesome. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and cabanas are wonderful. The beach is great but get there early to reserve your space (all of the chairs are gone by 8am) The breakfast is good, the bar...

The Standard room are very old. The door is looked with a locker so you can not lock the door in the night. The superior room is a lot better! Its new, clean and friendly . The breakfast is [--]. You don't have sausage and cheese. The eggs are not fresh. The omletts are fresh. The staff is not friendly....

We stayed at Nakara for 10 nights. The resort is in a brilliant location, right on the beach with a really well maintained pool. The room was fine, kept very clean and everything was in good order - air con, tv, hot shower. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, some of the pathways require attention to make them free...

The most expensive place we stayed in Thailand with by far the worst service. When we arrived and were taken to our bungalow, the guys carrying the luggage peered in and said it wasn't cleaned yet so we headed back to reception. With no apology we were told to go and wait in their restaurant and get a drink, and...

We spent a week at Nakara Long Beach in early January right in peak season. While a nice place, it has very much a resort feel to it which caters mainly for package tourists - nothing wrong with that at all, but maybe not the kind of place where I'd usually stay. The rooms were in rows of bungalows -...
