Best way is to fly to Krabi on mainland Thailand. From there get a ferry to Ko Lanta. Several airlines fly from Asia fly to Krabi. Would need to check ferry times as they change during the different seasons, takes 1.5 - 2.0 hours. Alternatively you can get transportation via a Van to Ko Lanta includes a small ferry ride onto the island, takes approximately the same time as the main ferry boat. About the same price.
