This resort is situated right on the beach. Our villa had its own small terrace with table and chairs which was great for a relaxing sit down or read a book. The pool is set in the gardens and is medium size and very clean, ample furniture around. The room itself was quite large with a very comfortable bed, flat...

We booked the 4 person bungalow. The resort is at the beach so the location is great! The swimming pool is nice as well. The owner and staff are really friendly. They always want to help you or just have a chat. The restaurant has a big selection of Thai and western food. The food is nice. We enjoyed our...

Bought a night stay here at the ferry, ended up spending three nights here. You get good value for money, paid 1000 baht for a great room with a good bed, bathroom and air-condition. This was one of the best places we stayed traveling one month through Thailand. Wonderful staff and very nice by the beach. 5 star club sandwich...

This place is terrible. The location is the only good thing about it. I paid an expensive rate for an air conditioned room and the air con didn't even work, it just blew hot air into the room. It was cooler outside! I complained to reception who couldn't have cared less. It's much cheaper for a fan only room and...

Stopped for a quick beer, and first thing I was asked was, did I want mushrooms!??? Hmmm Okay so awesome view, very relaxing, cool pool tables. Beer 80 for Small Chang, 100 for small Heineken. The place is just a bit, um, shady, I dunno... Maybe just off season?

We got the ferry from Phi Phi to Koh Lanta and had a man on the ferry try sell us a taxi to the hotel, I declined and the man became very angry, he threatened me with its his family's hotel and I better be strong because his uncle who owns it is... From this point I felt very uneasy...

Lanta Emerald Bungalow is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are cheap and clean and very well maintained. My wife and I have stayed there two separate times and both times the stay was wonderful. As is common in Thailand we had not booked a place to stay before coming to Koh Lanta from Phi Phi. On the boat...

Emerald Bungalows was fine. Not bad, not great. We had the deluxe unit with AC near the beach and it was really nice being about to walk maybe 50 steps to get to the sand. The massage hut was next door - and the staff there were super friendly. The bar/restaurant was large and spacious. The food was decent. The...

I would go here again because of the excellent location and nice staff. The rooms were clean but very basic. The bungalows had two apartments each. If you like to sit on the terrace in the evening, you sit right next to your neighbors. Nevertheless I think it was good enough for what it cost. The beach had lots of...

Lanta Emerald Bungalow offers accommodation in a hotel portion which is cheaper in a budget with no air conditioning or bungalow which is recommended to upgrade for! It's relaxing and silent over there in the bungalows area in the middle of the very beautiful garden. It's very close located to the beach which is full of many beach bars, restaurants...

“The seaview bungalows are the closest to the beach (the best is A1) and therefore the most expensive, but they are also closest to the loud party scene. The further back you go, the quieter the bungalows. Or bring earplugs! For us, it was worth having a nice porch close to the sea and restaurant, whereas the kids and grandkids were happy further back, closer to the pool. And at the right time of year, even the non A/C bungalows in the back are just fine and very good value.”
