Stayed here 2 nights and it was a decent place, except that I had 1000 baht stolen from my room. When I brought it up with the manager he assured me he would sort it out and talk to the house keeper who was the only other person with a key to my room. But he did nothing about it...

We stayed here for 4 nights and the only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because we did miss having aircon. Otherwise we loved the location slightly away from the road and main town but some great cafes nearby(the on-site cafe wasn't finished when we were there) the owners were very friendly and came to see us the day...

My partner and I stumbled across Bamon's gorgeous cafe and bungalows by complete accident one morning, whilst searching for breakfast on Koh Lanta. The owner and his wife have set up an amazing little cafe, complete with western-style, but still delicately Thai, breakfasts and brunch options. The bread used is fluffy and fresh, the eggs are delicious and the fruit...

Very nice modern cafe, great iced coffee, nutri drink and scrambled eggs with bacon. Excellent fresh coffee from a proper coffee machine! Very friendly and attentive staff who speak English. Relaxed atmosphere and well air conditioned. Definitely worth a visit.

We were planning to stay for 4 nights, but because of a change in our itinerary stayed for only two and I am happy that we didn't have to stay 2 nights more. The bungalows look nice from the outside but are a little bland and worn out on the inside. The bed is a very hard spring mattress. Luckily...

My girlfriend and I stayed at Fruit Tree Lodge for two nights…and we regret not staying longer. While our bungalow didn’t have A/C, the room was very comfortable. The breakfast at the Fruit Tree Coffee cafe was cheap and delicious. The owner was very kind and helpful, he even arranged for us to rent a scooter from the cleaning lady!...

We stayed here during 6 weeks, the place is loads in bungalows up in the trees witch makes it nice, it is close to restaurants, other shops and the beach. We loved it there and i would definitely stay there again.

This review is for the coffee shop not the lodge. We had breakfast and coffee at the fruit tree coffee shop recently. It's new and only has a small menu but we all ordered the house made granola, fruit & yoghurt and it was perfect. The owner was funny and charming and loves his coffee. It wasn't too bad actually!...

We booked the accommodation for 8 nights due to the reviews we had read on booking.com. We were expecting relatively basic accommodation as we had read the Lodge's website. We were very disappointed. From the photos posted..the bungalows looked lovely, both inside and out. However, they are incredibly hot, airless and swarming with mosquitos inside and out. Complete lack of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Fruit Tree Lodge & Coffee Shop started off 7 years ago as a small collection of Thai style bungalows located in a local village called Pra-Ae on the beautiful island of Koh Lanta, South West Thailand. Recently we have the developed the property to include a brand new, modern, air conditioned coffee shop on site, offering breakfast, brunch, snacks and drinks. The bungalows are up on stilts and have a balcony overlooking the garden. Fruit Tree Lodge & Coffee Shop is located in the village and therefore close walking distance to restaurants and other local amenities, and it is approximately 5 minute walk to the stunning Long Beach, one of Koh Lanta's most popular beaches. Each bungalow has a double bed, hot water shower, fridge, fan and free wifi. The rooms are cleaned 6 days a week, and linen and towels changed on a regular basis. The bungalows are stylish, comfortable and are excellent value for money. Fruit Tree Coffee Shop is open between 07:30 and 17:00. Another addition to our property is Lanta Yoga, located approximately 200m away from Fruit Tree Lodge and Coffee Shop. We have designed and developed a brand new yoga sala at a private setting up amongst the trees and close to nature. The yoga sala was specifically designed to create a peaceful atmosphere perfect for practicing yoga. Vinyasa Flow yoga classes are available for all levels. Everyone welcome. ... more   less
