We liked the Lanta Residence. The family room was big and spacious, with a balcony. We were. Wey comfortable there for a five night stay. Staff didn't pay much attention to us, except when we needed something. Lobby needs to be tidied. Pool was great though and we almost always had it to ourselves.

This simple, no frills hotel is located in walking distance from shops and restaurants in the northern most small town of Koh Lanta Yai. The hotel has no restaurant and serves no breakfast. It does have a small swimming pool on the rooftop.

Whilst ideally located near to the restaurants and shops in Saladan, to be honest we were a bit disappointed with Lanta Residence. The reception area is capacious but barren looking. The room wasn't nearly as crisp and fresh as advertised but dark and dingy. We found the bed too hard but they were more than happy to place a folded...

We originally planned on staying in Koh Lanta for two days, however we loved the place so much we extended to five, and stayed in this hotel the whole time. The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from Saladan Pier, and is a 1 minute walk from a buzzing street filled with restaurants, bars and market stalls. For the five...

Stayed here with family. Rooms are clean, comfy bed, soft pillows and bathroom is okay (a bit weak, but still hot). Probably could do with an upgrade. The pool is very nice and also empty so you have the pool to yourself. We didn't add breakfast onto the room as it seemed expensive so can't comment on that. Location is...

Stayed for three nights. Staff were super freindly and helpful. Hired scooter without hassle and arranged transfers. Room was clean and cleaned everyday. Pool was great. Many places to eat in walking distance. Great value for money.

Stayed first at the smaller hotel close by, but the owner acted strange so better move to the Lanta Residence! Where the staff was much more polite and friendly. It is close to shops and restaurants, walking distance to Saladan where the ferries arrive and departure. Lovely pool on roof top. Nice and clean rooms with small refridgerator including daily...

Pool was nice thats about it. Rooms were dark and floor was very old concrete. Location is not very good to any restaurants or 7/11s. No restaurant/food or drinks bar at all. Rooms do not look anything like pictures. Not worth the money per night and the receptionist would not negotiate at all. Rented moped off her and we drove...

We stayed here for our 5 nights in Koh Lanta and couldn't fault the hotel. Staff were all friendly and our room was clean and spacious with good air con. Breakfast had a decent selection of western foods and eggs were cooked on demand as you wanted them. The pool was really good. We spent a couple of evenings in...

I stayed here with my family in a family room which was large and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was not so good. Buffet breakfast in the morning was very enjoyable, the very friendly receptionist come egg chef cooked to perfection. The location was perfect for walking to shops, restaurants, bars. They hired scooters and laundry. Free tuk...
