We spent 4 nights in fishermans cottage in February 2011. The cottages are nice if you like concrete. There is nothing else inside than a bed, a fan and an outdoorbathroom, but no possibility to store your luggage, only on the floor. The ants were happy. The price was 1200 TBT for the room number 2. In an other recommendations...

Staying at Fisherman's Cottages is like staying with friends. VERY nice friends. The guys there are friendly, helpful, polite and genuine. If you want a drink and a chat - they are great company. If you want to spend time on your own - they won't disturb. I'm a veggie and my hubby - a meat eater. They catered for...

The staff would do anything for you, there such nice people! When it was really hot during the day the room was pretty cool in the evening, and that without an aircon! The location have got only 9 bungalows and i think that's why it gives it that personal touch. The beach was so much relaxing because it's so peaceful,...

I've just spent another two weeks at Fisherman's Cottage, having stayed there a few times before (see previous review: "This is the best place to stay in Thailand, not just Ko Lanta") and I am happy to report that a move 50m down the beach to a slightly smaller property has not changed anything about Fishermans' at all. True to...

We had a wonderful stay at Fisherman's! The bungalows were great, the beach and the views were perfect (especially at sunset, when little fishing boats are returning home and you can see them on the horizon) and we have to give special credits to the staff and the food they prepared. It was great!!! They made something different every evening...

I first stayed at Fisherman's 10 years ago and have been back nearly every year since. Last season was sadly their last at their original location...and so this year they have rented new land and rebuilt just 2 minutes along the beach. The new Fisherman's looks a little different, but thankfully everything I loved about it is still the same...

Positives first: the bungalows are absolutely g special. Lots of room, beautifully presented with a huge open air bathroom. Staff: fantastic and very friendly, courteous and helpful. Negatives: was very noisy at night time. Loud music from the bar and the tv was on until all hours of the morng. However a bungalow further back may have been quieter. I...

travelled with my husband and our 2 friends. Had a cottage each - both extremely romantic in a sort of effortless cool way. The owners - two very relaxed smart guys from Bankok, cooked for us, made the cocktails, arranged New Year's dinner, made our breakfast and said - "just pay later"... After 5 days of this we felt a...

We stayed at Fisherman's Cottage having read the recent great reviews on TripAdvisor believing it to be a good value choice in a fantastic location. When we arrived, our welcome was friendly and our first impressions were positive. The bungalow, as promised, was just seconds from the beach with truly awesome views. The interior of the bungalows were quirky and...
