In short, this is a very well kept resort that I highly recommend for families with young children. But we won't come back because the staff is fake. Something is off with the staff. It's clear that the idea of the resort is to be homey and comfortable. But, on a few occasions we didn't feel welcome, we felt a...

This resort is located in a very nice and serene part of island away from all parties craziness. It takes about 40 min riding a bike from Tong sala pier to get to this resort. It has a nice beach but to be honest it is not the best in Island. This resort has no breakfast but there is a...

I instantly felt like home at the Longtail Beach Resort. I have been to Thailand a bunch of times but THIS was the best Bungalow I have stayed in so far - for this budget. The whole resort is extremely well kept and managed. The A/C bungalows I had (I moved during my stay) were brand new, nicely designed and...

The kitchen is so good, many guests from other hotels arround come here for lunch. The wooden huts are simple and small but worth the very moderate price. No full points because no credit cards are accepted which is annoying.

This place is on one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand, next to a cute village with each road access to the rest of the island (not true of many resorts on the island). It's a budget resort. Don't expect anything fancy. But for the budget traveler it's a great place with good food, nice rooms and a great...

We are staying in another hotel at the Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach but we eat almost every day (lunch & dinner) at the Longtail Beach Restaurant! And guess what we are not bored 😂 The food is fresh, amazing, super cheap and the staff is very polite! We can totally recommend this restaurant!

Very nice location on the beach. Delicious and fresh food. The drinks were also very good. Friendly staff. I recommend the fish there, very fresh and very delicious. We had a great time there. We will come back.

Very friendly staff, who even offered to take our photos on the beach. Really nice setting, with great views , the food was great, as were the prices. My husband who is a private French chef, loved the squid and vegetables with coconut milk. I enjoyed all my food. As an extra note, the glass of wine was the largest...

I read a number of reviews before booking this place but must have missed the ones warning about kids. EVERYONE has children here. There are more kids aimlessly wandering around than the stray dogs. The resort is missing basic amenities like beach towels and does not have many beach chairs. The beach is much dirtier than Chaweng beach on Ko...

Longtail Beach is a nice quiet resort at the end of Thong Nai Pan Yai. The bungalows are well kept. The food is good and the people are very friendly and helpful. Value for money is excellent. I can also recommend it for families with children.
