Perfect white sand beaches and crystal clear waters full of fish. Great snorkelling. The island is very environmentally friendly, no plastic or beach towels allowed (you can rent beach chairs for 150 baht for two). Great little cafe offering lunch and smoothies. Lots of wooden walkways to get around the rocky island. A must see if visiting ko Tao.

We have just left Nangyuan, and as many of the reviews say it is perfect, between 5pm and 10am. Now, when I say perfect, I mean the setting and location! There are free scheduled boats going from Koh Tao a couple of times a day. Entry to the island is free, deck chairs on the beach are also free. Well... More

I have almost the same experience with LucaSora, so I borrowed his title. The only friendly people (staff) is the person who carried our luggage to/from the cabin. He was always with some smiles even when he carried no less than 50lb of luggage on his shoulders and the sweat is visible from his face. The rest of the staffs... More

How can anyone not love staying here? We recently stayed for 5 nights and if we could have we would have stayed longer. We thought it was paradise and we will definitely come back again and for longer. Some people must be very hard to please! I must admit I was really worried before we arrived based on the very... Absolute horribly bad attention to service. Management does not give a hoot about the bungalow business. Smelly, no sheets or mosquito nets, TVs placed in impossible-to-view positions along with no hot water, soap or towels. Management focuses 100% on the Chinese day-trip tourists. No plastic allowed on island but does management advertise that fact?? Drop a glass bottle and break... More

We are currently on the island and can't wait to get off. The resort spans over two islands connected by a beautiful sand bank. The cabins are spread out all over the two islands ..some on the hill with magnificent views some behind the reception area if you don't like climbing to your cabin. Some of the steps to your... If you are thinking about visiting this Island you better think twice if you are not asian-origin or if you don't like it crowdy loud and artifical! 15 years ago I was on this Island to enjoy peace and quiet - it had been one of the most beautifull beaches I have been to. But that is the past! Today... More

Ordered a very good room with an extra bed. Okay room with perfect view! Got the bed and breakfast. Bot only a large towel as "quilt" and only two beach towels, even I went a bit mad! We only paid for the bed and breakfast and not extra towels, they said. They didn't have enough towels even we ordered half... More

The Island is absolutely beautiful. The rude staff, poor restaurant service, overprised rooms and waterbottle rule nearly ruins the experience. I did take plastic bottles to the island, but also carried every single one away with me back to the mainland. If you stay overnight expect the worst service in thailand.
