We chose to stay at Central Cottage after much research and trying to find somewhere reasonably priced on Thong Nai Pan beach. I knew about the rough ride from the ferry to the actual beach (about 45 mins and most of the time on the back of a ute in the open air!) so that didn't bother us so much....

I booked this hotel through siamvisit as we had a lot of difficulty securing accommodation at this busy time of year. We had to pay in full when booking so were a little aprehensive before arrival. We pre-booked the transfer from the pier and glad we did: it cost us B200 for 2 and we were quoted B1500 on the...

So surprised with the poor reviews this place has got! I would recommend a stay here to absolutely anyone.Stayed in a basic hut which was very basic but when it is directly on the beach I really couldn't complain,it was the cheapest place i stayed while travelling and was easily the best and would go back tomorrow. I have never...

The Central Cottage was the first place I stayed on my two week trip to Thailand. The road to get there is very bumpy but well worth it. The Central Cottage is located on a pretty empty part of the island. We booked the cheapest room and were surprised when they handed us the key to our cottage. It was...

Central Cottage Resort was a comfortable enough stay with a clean neat simple room right on the beach. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We did however have a problem with the hot water not working. When we mentioned it to the hotel staff they explained that the geyser was connected to the airconditioner only when set on a...

We were recommended to this resort by the info guide at our Ko Tao Hotel - we prebooked via that hotel and arrived at the port where we were to be collected - it is a 17 km drive across the island so we had to wait for other passengers to join us - fair enough - but it meant...

Great value for money. Went for a superior room whcih was very clean with excellent facilities - only thing was that ants got in through the floor boards but that wasn't much of a problem. Right on the beach and food in restaurant top class. Such a chilled out place we were extremely happy and didn't want to leave.

I felt that I...

We stayed there for 8 nights over the full moon party. Thong Nai Pan as a resort is quiet and laid back lovely beach - not good for snorkelling as the water isn't crystal - but really lovely with a nice chilled nightlife. Central Cottages - it's OK. If you're expecting beach front heaven with hammocks etc - it's not...

We arrived at Ao Thong Nai Pan Noi beach and had read good reviews about Central Cottage so headed there. Everyone seemed friendly..We headed to the bar within Central Cottage and had a few drinks and then went for an evening swim with the hosts of Central Cottage, they soon got out and we watched as they stole all our...
