Detailed Reviews
I was happy to have had an enjoyable stay for 3 nights after reading some poor reviews but I didn’t experience anything I read about poor service, uncleanliness, etc. I will agree the prices at the resort are higher than all surrounding areas but I just didn’t eat there and went elsewhere down the beach which was quite reasonable. Same for massage prices.
The resort was clean, everyone I dealt with gave a smile and good service. I give a shout out to the waiter who found my hat I left in the restaurant and recognized me later in the day and showed me where he’d put it aside in the restaurant for me to find. The beach was clean, always found a lounger to sit in. Pool areas had few chairs but I’m more of a beach person so no worries. Breakfast was a good selection of western and Asian dishes. I went diving with Black Tip diving located right on resort (very convenient) and had a good experience with them. About $114 Canadian for 2 dives. Lucky that my room was close to the beach one level up behind reception. A little bit of view to beach through trees, nice and private and not a long walk up the hill. It was perfect to decompress after touring for a month in south east Asia. I would go again. Yes, higher price than other places around but beautifully landscaped and tranquil surroundings. It was a little piece of paradise needed.

Great location. Great views. Stunningly clear water to swim in.
You couldn't ask for a better location to relax in.
The accommodation was well presented and clean, with daily housekeeping. I did choose one of the more expensive ocean view villas.
The staff were great - always friendly, helpful and good to take care of guests. With so many foreigners, they were exceptionally patient too.
The food was mainly foreigner based. Any Thai food on the menu was 'watered down' versions of authentic Thai dishes - I found them lacking in flavour but they're probably OK for tourists.
I normally like to mix with the country's people when I'm on holiday. Sadly this isn't the case around Phi Phi Island except for the staff.
My girlfriend was the only other Thai person I saw which was kinda sad that Thai's can't afford to visit the area.
If you're a tourist, this is a nice place to stop and relax. If you're an ex-pat, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

We stayed from 29th January to 2nd February 2023. It's a lovely resort, and our oceanfront room no.102 was superb. The resort is well maintained, and services were very good. The rooms are also very nice with all facilities.Location is excellent with beautiful beach and blue ocean always in front of your eyes.Restaurant is nice and foods were of good variety and tastes. However, the breakfast(included in the tariff) spreads were basic and not very great. Staff were very courteous and helpful.
They serve only two bottles of drinking water per day, and it is better to carry the water from the pier while going there. The resort is only accessible by long boat from Pier with a travel time of about 10mins.and each travel one way costs 100 Bath during daytime and 150 in the night. And night boat ride may not be suitable always particularly if the weather is not good. Otherwise, the resort is an excellent place to just relax and enjoy. There is no swimming pool either in this resort.

We stayed in the beach front bungalows which were sub standard given the price we paid. Uncomfortable beds, average AC, showers either piping hot or cold, basic decorating required and the majority of staff were unfriendly and on one occasion extremely rude. For the price we were expecting high quality accommodation but what we got was a below average bungalow. On the plus side the view is great and the buffet breakfast was good, but for the money there are surely far better options on Long Beach.

Extremely rude tone of talking.
Everytime you have to ask something, girls at reception talk like its a bother for them. They yell everything, if I talk about prices for trips, fees for masks or snorkeling.
Rooms are crawling with bugs and if you want to call reception, they don't have intercoms. You have to walk to the reception.
Very small bathrooms.
Location is nice. Right in front of the beach.

Not happy with the experience at all. First, when we arrived on the main island, we were told to wait an hour until the long tail could take us. The guide told us he would watch our luggage, but when we came back, no one was watching it. We were then told that the tide was too low for our complementary long tail, so we needed to pay THB 200 to ride a public one. We got to the resort and checked in. The workers at the front desk were not friendly. We were brought to our bungalow in the far back corner. These bungalows are old and dark. If you book here, book the new bungalows. Luckily there is working hot water in the shower. The beds are like sleeping on a wooden box. Only 2 pillows on the bed, the shades are not blackout, and you cannot turn off the porch light at night. The picture windows are boarded up. The tv is old without Netflix, etc. the hair dryer doesn’t work properly. The breakfast is fairly good. The dinner selection is the usual Thai/American menu. Lots of drinks, smoothies, fruit choices too. The view is great. The private beach area is good. No beach towels or mats are provided. You have to bring your own or buy from them. We asked for 11:30 checkout and were told no. The grounds aren’t kept well. The weeds and grass are overgrown. Just down the way, the Paradise Pearl is beautiful, and we are envious of those. We definitely do not recommend staying here unless you are going for cheap price & cheap quality.

We were in a bungalow on the beach with direct access to the sea, a truly splendid view in the early morning
Very large bedroom and very large bathroom with large wooden cupboard not very modern
Too bad there is not a small broom in the room because a lot of sand is not pleasant when you go to bed
In terms of breakfast, not great, no choice and average meal
Travel by long boat to the city center costs 100 bahts during the day and 150 bahts in the evening per person

We hesitated to go to Koh Phi Phi because it was said to be so crazy busy and touristy, but staying at the Paradise Resort made Phi Phi a really nice stop on our trip through South-East Thailand.
After arrival at the pier in Koh Phi Phi, take a longtail boat to ‘Long beach’ and you’ll arrive right at the resort. 100bath per person is a good price.
Paradise resort is situated right at a very pretty beach. We stayed in a standard bungalow with 2 beds, and it was very nice: simple, but clean and the bed was nicely firm. The bathroom is very basic but clean. The resort is right at the beach and the breakfast really nice. We also had a massage, that’s a must!
We also rented a private longtail boat to go to Maya beach and did some snorkeling at the Pi Leh Bay.
In short: even if you don’t like the crazy partying and want to have a nice island vibe, you can find that at Koh Phi Phi.
