We had a Front Side Deluxe room (no.2403) for a 3 night stay, the views from the room balcony were amazing, the room was very clean, air con & wifi worked well (even on the beach) and the mini bar was included for free which is a nice touch.

One thing to add, the long boats are noisy and go to the pier from the resort everyday at 8am so if you don't want to be disturbed at this time you might want to go for a room higher up or choose another hotel.

Our room was right at the front of the beach\resort so it was only a short walk to restaurant etc. but as you will read in other reviews, most of the rooms are on a hill which is fairly steep so you'll need to consider this when choosing this resort, for us we'd happily stay in the same room again and would possibly go for a cheaper room (up the hill) for another short stay.

The resort is located at the far end of long beach and is a great choice for anyone wanting to be close to the main town & pier but not too close, there's a shop at the other end of long beach which has drinks & snacks which are obviously cheaper than the resort bar.

The breakfast buffet was good, we only had one other meal at the restaurant which was very nice (rice & chicken in pineapple).

There were plenty of sunbeds but as usual people were reserving them, the infinity pool was very nice to cool off in.

The view point is definitely worth a visit though be aware that they do charge 30BHT per person and it's around a 45min walk from the resort.

We'll definitely consider this resort when we visit Phi Phi next time.

This is a stunning hotel with wooden houses on stilts which have that lovely authentic Thai feel. Also nice to be away from the Burger King fronted pier area. The staff are super friendly especially the supervisor in the restaurant.

We had one of the houses at the top which meant our views were stunning and we liked the exercise to walk to the top! Breakfast was delicious and the food in the restaurant is lovely but a little over priced. Has a lovely atmosphere though with the lighting in the evening and fire show at 9pm.

There is lots of choice with 3 small pools and obviously it’s on the beach with crystal clear waters and white sand but a big let down are the sun loungers and umbrellas. It’s not a cheap place and they have plastic loungers with no cushions which are so uncomfortable and umbrellas which are falling apart. Please fix these Phi Phi The Beach - can’t cost that much and will make a big difference to the guests. And on a small thing the beds are soooooo hard- so not a comfortable nights sleep.

We were a family and these houses are really built for couples so we appreciate the only way to accommodate families is with pull out beds but just a warning to other guests- if you have 2 children it’s very cramped and you are obviously paying a lot.

Overall stunning place but they do need to make a few improvements in order to justify the price. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Location: Bang on the beach about 20 mins from Tonsai pier by longboat, though rooms are on the hill. Our room was about 20 steps up from the beach. But other rooms were higher. Resort provides a Tuk Tuk pickup and drop to the beach so no issues even if your room is higher

Views: fantastic from the room as well as many of the vantage points in the hotel

Beach- clean and well maintained. You can walk into the water for about 50 mts without trouble. And you will be only waist high. Water is pristine and nice. Area is called long beach and there are other hotels in the stretch but this hotel is probably the best

Restuarent: limited breakfast options for vegetarians but you have usual toast and cornflakes etc. All carte menu for lunch and dinner has good choices for vegetarians mainly Thai cuisine as expected along with pizza/pasta etc. room service is available at an extra charge for each h delivery. All of the food we had was tasty and well prepared

Spa: good spa/ massage which I tried out. Staff are good and know their job
Tours: hotel can arrange for boat tour to maya bay and other places for snorkelling etc

Pricing: little expensive but worth it given the hotel location and all the effforts they need to get done to keep it running

Staff: courteous and helpful. Not all staff understand English but there are enough people to help you manage

Bugs/mosquito. Nothing observed on 2 days but on 3rd day had lot of mosquitos outside. No trouble in the room with bugs or mosquito. Best to have mosquito cream or patch

Overall very relaxed and enjoyable holiday. Will go again if I have a choice

Stayed for 5 nights and was expecting good things for over £100 a night, in thailand a good sum of money.

The beach is outstanding, crystal clear water, fishes swimming round your feet and warm. If you take some bread and feed them you'll be amazed how many fish turn up.

The sunbeds are hard plastic but there are plenty of them and parasols. The beach doesn't get cleaned so guests leaving trash pretty much stays there, bins weren't emptied that often around the place.

The swimming pools were nice, only 1 had about 6 sunbeds, hard wood with no cushions.

The location is about 10 mins from the pier, the long boats are a challenge to get in and out of and drivers not much help, for those that struggle with mobility or are a bit older it would be hard work. The fare is 100b each in the daylight and 150b in the dark and is pretty standard. The boats like to wait for a few people before they go and most passengers help each other in and out onto beach.

Breakfast is nice, lots of selection and the omelettes are good.

Rooms are tired and old, aircon creaks along and in the day made the room almost unusable. Everything has seen better days and not sure where deluxe comes into it to be honest.

Minibar consists of 2 cokes (non branded) 2 orange type things (non branded) and 2 bottles of water with pull ring top, so you cant really take out with you. 1 small bag crisps and 1 nuts, was expecting a bit more as a selling point, if you don't drink they don't get replaced.

Toiletries and toilet roll again very hit and miss if you get replacements. Towels are thinning and scratchy.

You definitely pay for the view, however as they all face sun you can't really sit on your terrace as too hot, no shade or parasol to help.

There is a beautiful restaurant at the paradise pearl (5 mins along the beach) if you don't want to get boat to pier and was really nice setting and food.

Massage also cheaper at paradise pearl than this hotel.

If I returned I would not stay at this hotel as just too tired and old.

I'm sure in safe tariff you will get better options around. Staff is ok, didn't create any problem for us.
The property itself is a problem. We booked Superior Double room. In general rooms are not well maintained, toilet was looking like a very old not well kept. Biggest problem was AC. first we were told it will take 30 mins but even after 2 hours there was no respite, then technician came did some change, still no effect.
We requested for a change in room, first response was standard that we are fully booked. A little more push was needed to get another room.
We got an even smaller room but atleast AC was decent enough.
Breakfast is served into their branch hotel, Phi Phi Beach Hotel Hip.
Its monotonous and not good.
The only plus point is the location. its right on the beach.
My suggestion would to better walk a few meters to access a beach than stay in a property like this where you don't want to come to the hotel room.

We had our second stay at Phi Phi The Beach Resort in November 2022. We stayed for 6 days in the 'standard room'. Our first visit was in 2019 when we only had booked for 2 nights because we were travelling around in Krabi. We thought that 2 nights were to short, so we decided to stay longer on our second time there.

The location is absolutely amazing and the absolute best we have had after staying on multiple other good resorts in both Railay, Ao Nang, Koh Tao and Koh Samui. It has chill tropical beach vibes and is perfect for relaxing. The food and drinks at the restaurant are also really good, and was even better now than in 2019. The beach has fine smooth sand and sunbeds with parasols for the guests. The water is crystal blue with exotic coloured fishes swimming around. There also is a beach bar with drinks, fireshows at night and snorkeling/kayak-equipment for rental which is just next to the resort. You can also book trips to Monkey Beach, Bamboo Island, Maya Beach etc. at the beach bar. We booked a private longtail for three hours and got picked up at the beach and went to Maya Bay.

You have to get to the resort by longtail boat from Tonsai Pier because it is located on Longbeach, but it is only a 10 minute ride, and it was always taxiboats around if we wanted to go to Tonsai. We had a couple of evenings in Tonsai, but we were very glad that we hadn't booked a hotel there because of all the nightlife and partying, but fun to explore some other restaurants and shops.

The resort is in a hill, but we walked to our room from the beach several times a day and didn't mind. We used around two-three minutes to the beach. If you don't want to walk, the resort offers to drive you to your room from the reception. The room was standard, but clean and nice. When staying for several days we would have enjoyed if the resort had a fitness room/gym with some equipment. That would have been a big plus.

Last but not least, the staff were amazing. We got picked up by the hotels longtail boat on our arrival at Tonsai Pier. The staff at both the restaurant and the reception were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome on our stay.

We absolutely love this place and will definitely come back!❤️

We stayed in a Grand Sea View Deluxe room. It was my husband, my 13 year old daughter, and I. Everything about our experience was incredible. The room was gorgeous, and the view was absolutely mind-blowing. It was great to have air conditioning, and the beds were comfortable. The mini fridge in the room was really nice so that you can always have cold drinks. They provided big, soft beach towels daily, and you could just drop them in a bin by the beach at the end of the day. There is quite a hike up to the room from the beach, but we enjoyed the exercise, and whenever we didn't feel like walking, we just asked for a ride up to the room. The beach was amazing, with fantastic snorkeling. We saw all kinds of beautiful fish, and we swam out a couple of times to see the sharks. The food was delicious, and it was so fun to order snacks right on the beach. Whenever the sun got too hot, someone was there to put up an umbrella to give us some shade. Breakfast was wonderful, with a ton of choices. We felt so well taken care of. It was absolutely luxurious. It was super easy to arrange a private long tail boat tour of the surrounding islands. It felt like we were in paradise. The staff was lovely. Everything was perfect. I got tears in my eyes when we had to turn over our key at the end of our stay.

I was a bit aprehensive about coming here due to some negative reviews. I have to say though my fears were gone as I approached the resort via the free shuttle from the pier. The guys in the shuttle were really kind, offering me an umbrella for shade. I was glad to leave the business of the pier. Approaching the resort I had a feeling this was going to be awesome! . I was warmly welcomed with a cold drink. Being a single booking I was a little anxious if I would get a Villa. Well, the courtesy buggy stopped outside a Villa 3 levels up. A big smile then came over my face as I realised I was getting a Villa, with a “ million dollar view”. I was so impressed with the Villa, spacious, made of wood, lovely air conditioning. Bathroom , shower room was excellent. Oh and wi fi was good also, plentiful supply of towels and fridge stocked with soft drinks and snacks. This was very welcome. Breakfast was lovely, really enjoyed the fresh pancakes! . It only took 5 mins to go up and down the steps to the reception / beach area. If there were things I could change? . Maybe a lick of paint on the woodwork of the balcony. Better sun beds down at the beach. The boat sounds during the day may be bothersome for some, but didn’t affect me as it’s the local s bread and butter. Snorkelling is excellent just off the beach and yes you can see Sharks slightly further out. Please be mindful of the strong currents and the passing boats. Go in the morning to see the sharks. You can hire gear from the bar. I ate my main meal further down the beach at a restaurant which was great so you have choice. I didn’t go into Tonsai port as I didn’t see the need. You can pick up biscuits and water etc from some of the restaurants for your room. So yes loved it here. Staff were amazing.

My dad and I spent 4 nights at this hotel almost a week ago. We want to say thank you to Partaya and her whole team for the friendly attentive service. Special mention to Sakai for really making our time at the hotel enjoyable!! He was super helpful and held great conversations with us, we really enjoyed his company! He also took time out of his day off and took us snorkelling which was so thoughtful of him! We will miss you!

The hotel room interior was beautifully designed, with intricate wood work and simple clean layout, with a sensational view from our balcony! (we got the deluxe sea view bungalow)

The location of the hotel was exactly what we wanted. Only a 10 min boat ride into town, while simultaneously having that feeling of staying on a seperate private oasis. Also like to say a BIG thank you to our tour guide on the long tail boat "Noopreeya Numchok" who provided us with great company and service on a perfect day trip to Maya Bay!

Will definitely recommend this hotel and visit again, I will miss the staff and cats! :))

We recently spent 3 amazing nights at Phi Phi The Beach Resort. Traveling, even if it is just locally, during the pandemic can be a real challenge - so I would like to thank the hotel staff for the attention and unique service offered since the booking. They were very responsive online and the hotel is offering everything a guest may ask for a comfortable and safe stay. All safety measures are being constantly observed.

Long beach is the best spot in PhiPhi Don for a relaxing stay! The rooms have an amazing view to the bay. The transfer from Tonsai pier and mini bar were complementary. From beach towels to room cleaning and the room itself, everything was perfect! We were truly happy during this 3 days and enjoyed PhiPhi more than we could have imagined.

The staff speaks good english and they are all extremely attentive, polite and offered the best service we had in Thailand so far. Special thanks to Khun Cherry, Max and Thina who definitely made our stay even more special.

Breakfast was very good with good western and thai options, fresh fruits and cereals. We asked it to be served in our room on rainy day - it was very nice!

Thanks to the entire PhiPhi staff and management, we hope that more and more guests will come experience by themselves this great hotel.

I am not sure they have family friendly rooms. We had an extra bed for our son and it was a bit crowded with luggage and snorkeling gear also. We had a Superior Villa and they are ok but small. Two children would have been too much in this small villa.
