We only checked in in this hotel because we had no booking on koh tao, were very tired and just needed a bed. To get the room we had to prepay for 2 nights which is okay I think! But the next day I realised that this is the worst place you could stay when you want to feel comfortable...

JP resort is perfect if you want something cheap, clean and basic. I had one of the fan rooms with my own bathroom that's was all I needed. Basic bathroom basic room but all perfectly clean and comfortable. Great location for beach (opposite) and in the middle of Chalok bay and the bars and restaurant

Me and my friends stayed here for 3 nights. We had the best stay ! The room was really nice, beds were comfy, we didn't have boiling water from the shower but the water had a really good temperature for showering. The location is perfect, 2 min away from the sea. Pool is amazing as well and the restaurant is...

Would not recommend this place: - we booked our room weeks in advance yet when we arrived were put in a twin bed room with an option to be moved again the next morning. - after getting out at 10am the next room was not available until nearly 4pm as cleaners are so slow and staff had no idea what...

Looks like a smile is an unavailable option in this hotel. Rooms are ok, close to but not on the beach. You will hear noise from the road and the beds are not comfortable. We moved to another hotel after two nights.

I did not stay there. But I ate at the restaurant. Positive, location is on the beach. That's about it. The staff were quite unfriendly. Had to get my own menu. Then I had to go back up and let them know I wanted to order. I ordered Thai food, and I asked for it to be spicy. And the...

Hotel is well located, opposite the beach and has a small swimming pool. Apart from that, the room I had was terrible! The bed seemed like it dated from 1945 with springs almost coming out of it when you lie down, and when you actually went on the bed the mattress, it was so soft you almost touched the ground....

The place itself is nice, near the beach and some restaurants. But it is not where most of the island's hotels are, so at night it felt very off, and almost spooky. They have three big houses with a lot of rooms, and I think we were the only one staying in our big building. The bathroom wasn't to nice,...

Walked around Koh Tao one afternoon and was best price (450 baht/night for 7 nights in June) for what you get. Sheets were clean, room was clean, the view was amazing (room 16 on the hill in the bungalows). The shower and toilet are together (still don't love that aspect but it worked) and toilet paper. Mo at the front...

Stayed here for a week on our 2 month Asia trip and really enjoyed the island. It's in a great location near local amenities and right on the beach, Reggae Bar next door is great to chill out in and Sairee Beach is 5 mins away on a motorbike. My first room was not great (rm36) - had an ant...
