Firstly, I must say I dont agree with the reviews below; this hotel is, as it says it is; Barefoot Luxury (I would say simple luxury). We absolutely loved our stay at Haad Then, the breakfast was great with a selection of Western or Asian food, fruits/cereals/egg station etc, anything you need. Yes the price is more than what you...

The "Haad Tien Beach Resort" is a wonderful, original place to stay. It has a grate view, a wonderful bay to go snorkeling and the bungalows at the beach are clean. The pnly thing that wasn't perfect, was the pool, it was dirty and not well treated. But anyways, who need a pool when you have a sea right in...

I have been lucky enough to visit the spa 2 times since being here and on my first visit my feet were very swollen and the manager Toon was so lovely my feet were massaged with ice and the swelling was reduced greatly and with so much care and I have just visited again for a back massage which was...

I'll start with the Pro's - cabins are lovely, beach is gorgeous. Con's - Breakfast is terrible, on the first morning no plates, no milk, no forks, no coffee... and staff seem put out and unmotivated. The breakfast food is below average compared to all the other hotels we have had in Thailand and I'm hardly a fussy eater. The...

Haadtien Beach Resort has a great-looking and well-maintained grounds and very good breakfasts in a very nice and luxurious restaurant setting. Our deluxe villa was a well-appointed bungalow with nice view and a (dry) porch. There is a pretty though small pool next to a pretty little beach. Despite all the above this quite pricey place is not good value....

My rating has wavered between a 3 and a 4 but this is not a cheap resort and it does not live up to the promises of a beautiful and idyllic escape Arrival you are picked up from the ferry which is great but you do have to wait for the last people to get off and then the haadtien...

We stayed in Bangkok, Samui, then took a ferry to Tao where the hotel's shuttle loaded our luggage and picked us up, only a 10 minute drive from the dock. Our villa (206) was unbelievable with a genuine hut feel but working and effective A/C, TV and bathroom with enough space for a honeymooning couple. It was steps from the...

I wavered on this review. I brought my family to this hotel and our travels were difficult as we took our small toddlers with us. After 2 flights and 2 boat rides we arrived tired and the ride from the dock to hotel was unorganized chaos. We were told to wait repeatedly and had to constantly follow up until we...

We stayed here last year for a few nights to recharge after competing our OW dive course. It was a low season so it was not too pricey. Bungalow was top notch, clean and private. Enjoyed our breakfasts, and restaurant as well. Beach in not that great tho, it's fairly narrow and got a lot of seashells in it. Ocean...

This hotel is very disappointing and is no where near a "luxury" hotel. This room (we stayed in Haad Tien Villa) was not clean and very run down. The fridge reeked of rotten food. The breakfast was also horrible, with very poor quality ingredients!! Definitely not worth it. Don't be misled by all the nice photos on the website.
