I loved this hotel. Phenomenal vista meant that every morning waking up here was a pleasure. Panoramic water views from every room we stayed in (we moved 3 times as we kept extending our stay), nice food, great service, lovely pool, snorkelling with sharks, cocktail happy hour, patient staff, longtail boat shuttle to beach...it was hard to leave. The endless...

This was what we where searching for at Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, the last 4 nights we found it at Koh Tao, exactly our dream and we hope to be able to visit these facilities again. Koh Tao and Hotell Jamahkiri fulfilled all our dreams, fantastic view, easy access to swim with fishes and sharks, absolutely stunning for us...

Yes it a a great location for the view. We booked a room, for 4 nights. At no time we were informed that we had to be young and very fit to stay at this hotel The first evening went 160 yes 160 steps from our room to the dining room and of course 160 steps down. Luckily our room...

Stayed for a couple days with friends, enjoyed the resort and KT in general. Jamahkiri is more of an out of the way resort vs other places in KT that are closer to Sairee so if you're looking for nice/away from main areas then this is a good choice for you. The spa services (massage) were a great treat, snorkelling...

This is a fantastic property, located on a hillside, with spectacular views of the ocean. The Deluxe Pavilion room was spacious and comfortable. It overlooked the bay, and had a great balcony. The pool is also great. This is positioned as a luxury resort, and that’s were some chinks became apparent. There is no house keeping after 5pm. What that...

I stayed in Jamahkiri over Christmas this year and was extremely disappointed. The customer service wasn't just poor, it was irritating. It is a very commercial place and they asked about 5 or 6 times one 2 days if we wanted to have a Christmas dinner at the hotel. They specified that they would not be serving food and that...

My sister and I came and stayed a couple of nights here, unfortunately during Typhoon Haiyan. The location- the hotel is located high up on a mountain side and the actual hotel casades down the same mountain, on the other side. The hotel is isolated and is not close to the night life. However, the hotel does have a free...

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel in November. We absolutely loved the hotel location, even though it is a bit remote. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow, which was lovely. We had a view on the sea. Staff at the hotel were friendly, but some could not speak English very well and sometimes it was difficult to get things...

I was seriously impressed by Jamahkiri and think it deserves more than just 4 stars. The staff were super friendly (especially 'Nice' who greeted us with a warm smile and great attitude every single day). Their ability to communicate and basic manners were exceptional. The ocean front rooms are incredible and I wished I could wake up to a view...

We stayed here two nights after cancelling our stay in koh samui- too busy there. We fell in love with koh tao but this location is really far from the restaurants , beach and nightlife. Stay in sairee beach or close to it. We didn't find the staff friendly at all. They also change you renting a kayak and snorkel/...
