We had the S6 room offering great views across the bay. Very cute little cabin. Toilet and shower are outside. Gave it a nice tropical touch. Good AC. It's just a hell of a walk up and down to the rooms as the place is basically built on a steep cliff. Also, the walls are very thin so quite noisy when other people are out on their balcony. It's a family owned hotel and the owners were just extremely helpful with all questions we had. They went out of their way to help us. Very nice. Breakfast is great. A la carte dinner menu not too cheap. Great Pina colada. Would stay again.

We stayed for one night in room 8.

The view from our room was spectacular. You can see right across shark bay and out toward Koh Samui. We opted for a “good sea view room” and think that gives you a front row bungalow. It’s a lovely quiet resort.

There are a fair few stairs (how else can you stay on a hill overlooking the sea) and, although my fitness levels are nothing to write home about, it was fine HOWEVER if you were mobility restricted it may be an issue.

The room was comfortable with a spacious four poster bed with attached mosquito net, which is great because being a rustic bungalow there’s the odd gap for the little sneaks to get in. The linen was soft and comfortable we both got a great nights sleep.

The bathroom was fine and spacious, could probably do with a re-grout here and there but everywhere was clean.

The balcony had a little table, rocking chair and loungers with the amazing view, was just perfect.

There’s nothing in the room fridge so head to your room with some drinks and snacks.

The staff/bar/restaurant are all great. We had breakfast/lunch/dinner/cocktails here all really tasty and generous portions! Lots of choice as well, western and Thai.

You can rent snorkels and flippers from the resort and having a snorkel is a must. You can access a small beach from the resort and head out into shark bay!

Head to the 360 bar down the road the views are great.

Will definitively return.

Taatoh seaview resort had great communication from the time we booked.
The view is amazing and maybe 40 stairs down to the beach where you can snorkel right off the beach..
If you have a choice try and go where there is high tide during the day. You can hire snorkel equipment from reception. You can also get washing done for a very cheap price and returned within a day.
The resort is a bit out of town so you need a taxi to go into Saree beach, however there is a shopping eating strip within 10 mins walk from the resort which is nice.
We booked S2 and another family booked V2. I think if you have older kids it's best to book V2 as they are 2 separate rooms with a separate entrance and thus separate bathrooms. S2 on the other hand would be better for smaller kids as it's all in one apartment with 2 bathrooms however you can see from one bathroom to another which is not as good for older children.
All in all a great place to stay

My boyfriend and I was happy to stay at taatoh resort the last few days of our trip, but ended up cancelling and finding a new place after two nights.

We came and the room was fine with an amazing view. But quickly we discovered a huge cockroach and a lot of dead baby cockroaches. They cleaned it and we thought it was gonna be okay. When we came back from our day out, there were 3 more cockroaches and they had to come down and spray the room with poison spray for the 2nd time while we waited outside. Then morning after we woke up to 2 more dead cockroaches and 1 alive in the bathroom. We got the breakfast for free that morning, but it ended up ruining our morning, becase the staff didn’t understand english and made the wrong breakfast 2 times in a row and had to throw out food because they were rushing and getting mad at me because I asked if I could change my order. Not to mention, it was expensive. We got charged 4.400 bath for two terrible nights, and they let us cancel the last two nights so that we could go back to the place we stayed before which was half the price but muuuuuch better. They said they were sorry a lot, and they did their best, but we had people comming inyo our room to clean 4 times over 48 ours, and we just wanted to get away from there quickly.

Very dissapointed they charged us full price for such a disgusting room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Taatoh Seaville Resort in Koh Tao. We stayed for 2 nights and were blown away by the size of our balcony overlooking Sharks Bay which also had easy access to the bay. Our room balcony provided for a breathtaking view point which had me pinching myself the entire 2 nights we were here. The room itself was basic but acceptable and we had a huge bathroom which was also nice. We found the staff to be professional and accommodative. And we found the food to be inexpensive and satisfying. Overall, this was an incredible stay. For only 1900 THB per night I highly recommend getting the unit with the large balcony overlooking Shark’s Bay. You won't be disappointed !

Beautiful little resort with amazing views on shark bay. Turtles, reef sharks and plenty of fish right at the door step with good complimentary fins, masks and vests from the hotel. Staff is great and good restaurant with sea view. Terrace very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended and will send all my friends on Samui here for their Koh Tao getaway. Contact friendly owners direct for best rates!

This resort is located right on Shark Bay with a small beach to sit on and where you can go snorkelling.

The staff at Seaview were very friendly and helpful, lending us snorkels for free and also helping us rent a scooter for a couple of days.

Our accommodation was a treehouse, which had a nice balcony (you must remember to wear bug repellent) and the room was spacious, with plenty of space for our luggage. There was air conditioning and a safe, as well as a fridge which didn’t really work.

The resort is located on quite a steep hill, which means there are quite a lot of steps getting to/from the rooms to either the beach or the restaurant. In addition, where this resort is slightly out of town there are only a few restaurants within walking distance. We ended up hiring a scooter to get to Mae Haad and Sairee beaches are, which is where the majority of restaurants are.

We stayed here whilst we did our padi open water and had the best experience. Lovely bungalows and the staff were so kind and attentive. The food at the restaurant was yummy. This is our first trip alone (two 18 yo females) and we felt very safe here the whole time! Would highly recommend.

My second visit with strongly request the same room I stayed before. Anyway, I booked 1 more night from my original booking but the room I wanted was reserved on the first night so I have to stay in the other room first. Food at the restaurant is ok (hotel guest gets 10% discount). My boyfriend and I spent most of our time at the resort's beach where I met the same gentle turtle everyday. We love this hotel and waiting for the right time to plan our 3rd visit!

Disappointed Service

The lady fat, blonde haire staff at the front desk had an unfriendly expression and bad voice. The room had a good view only. I recommend renting a moterbike outside hotel is the best. Due they did't fill the gas tank in fully . They checked every detail and have charged a lot.
