This was the last leg of our Thailand trip, and this place really blew us away with the outstanding views and beauty! We upgraded our room to a pool room and it was 100% worth the surprisingly small extra cost. The villas are hidden away up a bit of an incline, luckily they offer a free taxi service as there a lot of hill to contend with. The villa we stayed in was modern, spacious and the view was insane looking over Shark Bay. The place has no on site restaurants but they have many takeaway which deliver food to you, and honestly it was some of the best food we'd had on our trip, I ordered the seared tuna steak from one of them, and it was stunning. The taxi ride to the main Sairee beach was only around 5mins and they offer various free taxi rides throughout the day, if you do wish to take a taxi at other times there is a number for a taxi service in the guestbook and he was awesome. A little further down the hill from us was the Jamahkiri Diving Club where we had our first diving experience, couldn't recommend this place enough if you want to try it out! TIP: If you're going to Nangyuan island get there early as all of the day trip boats and snorkelling excursions arrive around 11ish and the beaches get very crowded and busy. The view point on this island also has people queuing for photos, it's a lovely view but I wouldn't want to queue for it. We spend around 3-4hours snorkelling here, but in all honesty there are better and less crowded places to do it. We didn't get chance to go but I'd recommend Shark Bay, every time we looked over at this beach it was very quiet and also close to the villas, just a little further down the hill in another resort, most people don't realise you can go through the resort to get to it. I really can't recommend Cape Sharke Pool Villas enough and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will 100% be returning again - thank you!!

We had the most amazing stay here at cape shark villas!! We stayed in room c232 and c8 both rooms had incredible views, extremely clean and presented beautifully as well as great snorkel gear and only a short lot of steps down to the sun decks where you can climb straight in to snorkel with beautiful big different types of fish and turtles. There are also kayaks available for you to take at your leisure. We ordered food delivery from a few restaurants and it was very quick and easy. Despite being up a big hill, they offer shuttle services to get you where you need to go and always made sure we got there on time. We can’t wait to come back here on our next trip! A special big thank you to Max who was so so helpful and accommodating he really went above and beyond to look after us from the minute we arrived. Best customer service we have ever received! :)

I can't say enough good things about how great our stay was here. We won two free nights for a studio apartment that Cape Shark had donated for the local animal clinic fundraiser. It was a friend's birthday, so we wanted to upgrade to a larger villa. When we went to book we asked to upgrade to a two bedroom villa . We were more than willing to pay for the price difference. Without hesitating, they happily upgraded us for free, to a three bedroom.

It was such a wonderful stay!
The staff treated us as if we were any other paying guest. The villa had EVERYTHING you could hope for from kitchen supplies, to food in the fridge (eggs, bread, condiments), to a partitive pool, good WiFi, BBQ, etc. You even get a cell phone so you can call whenever you needed something. I would highly recommend staying here. Located on a quiet part of the south side of the island, it is prefect for families, honeymooners, couples, and friends.

Cape Shark Villas are amazing. We stayed in C23a and didn’t ever want to leave!
Stunning villa with an absolutely stunning view. All staff were helpful, friendly and caring. Every little detail is taken care of, from fresh drinking water daily to a small basic first aid box. Everything about the villa, furnishings, equipment and infinity pool amazed me and I would highly recommend staying here. Be prepared for a very steep journey up to the villas and the need for transport (unless you’re bionic!)
We will definitely be back and thank you to all at Cape Shark for an outstanding holiday.

Wifi never works. If you are a remote worker, never go here. There were several outages, it cuts off every few minutes on average. The front desk conveniently ignores your requests and treat them as if they don't exist if they hear complaints. Extremely unprofessional and condescending service workers.

Absolutely amazing location and perfect if you want to just chill out in your villa and not do much! The terrain is incredibly steep so you must be aware that even getting from your villa to reception can be quite an ordeal so getting to the shuttle to head in to town requires some effort. There is no restaurant, which although you can order in from a variety of local restaurants at reasonable prices, it's a bit annoying. Breakfast on site would be so helpful, even just a small fruit platter in the room. We spent half an hour deciding on a breakfast order only to be told the cafe didn't have a delivery driver that day. First world problems but either come prepared with food or be ready to organise yourself around delivery options. We only had two nights so spent one eating in and caught the shuttle in to Sairee Beach for the other (magic having dinner on the beach and lolling around in the warm water)

A few small touches could really add to the experience at Cape Shark- nice toiletries would seem like a given in a place like this but they're completely absent! Also, although a bathrobe is completely redundant in 90% hotels this is one where it would be great to have.

Overall, we had a great time and would have loved a few more days. The snorkelling was epic and having a private pool with a view was pretty special.

The villa is clean. I stay at Villa C5D, There is kitchen that you can cook your own meal.I think this villa is the most popular ones. The view from the terrace is direct ro the sea. Private swimming pool is really great. The bed is very comfortable. This villa is easy ro walk to the sea and you can snokling here. The best of this villa is the terrace, I could stay there all day and night. If you search for quite and peaceful place, I qould recommend Cape shark Villa, Especaiily C5D.

Our best stay in Thailand, and we have been all over the place. Villa had everything you need, full size fridge stocked with the essentials like eggs, toast and beer. Then there is the sharks, I saw 2 sharks and 1 turtle off their deck. They provide complimentary snorkel equipment (no fins), kayaks, paddle boards and shuttles into town including pick up and drop off from ferry. Food, they have A BOX of menus from every restaurant in town that will deliver, we randomly had sushi and Italian, no problems, food took 40 mins. This brings me to the cats! There are 2 resident fur babies, we adopted one for our stay, he was the highlight of my day (after the sharks). If I ever visit Thailand again this is where I will come, very happy here.

You have a Nice villa by youself. We Stayed at c6a, and it was the best with 3 seperate houses. It’s very easy to get food delivered, and the reception also makes sure to keep the fridge with toast, eggs and drinks. Awesome View. Possible to see turtles and shark. Great shuttle to town. Really enjoyed our time there.

A perfect escape of peace and luxury! We stayed in Cape Shark for two nights at the end of our holiday and wished we’d stayed longer!

We were in P10 - one of the sky view villas looking over Shark Bay. The terrace with the infinity pool was just breathtaking. The views were stunning and we couldn’t quite get over how nice it was.

The rooms comprised of a living area and kitchen, spacious bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Everything was clean and perfect. The TV also had Netflix and the wifi was reliable.

Snorkelling equipment was included, as was the use of paddle boards and kayaks if needed. They also run a shuttle service a number of times throughout the day into Sairee. The only real downside was the ride/roads to get to the villas was a bit of a pain - but once you’re there you won’t want to leave.

The staff were very welcoming and looked after us so well. You can WhatsApp reception with any questions or needs.

We can’t wait to stay here again on our next visit. Amazing!

There are a few 7/11's on the island but I've never seen them selling steak. Alcohol is quite cheap. I would eat out everynight (or order in), its so cheap its not really worth cooking for yourself. I got to KT biannually and have never cooked for myself.
