I booked for a river view room but was put in a garden view room. No TV., No bed sheet changed after the previous guest checked out, No water heater. With this price, I guess they aim not to sell facilities but the ambience of the hotel, which I do think that it is the only one good thing about...

This is a good place to relax near the Mekong. In fact from my upstairs room there was a very nice view. The staff were great when there and the breakfast was very good too. Now when I booked and looked at the place through Booking.com and Agoda I read that there was a pool to dip in. No thank...

I like this hotel, cheap, simple, but with a lovely terrace for breakfast over looking the Mae Kong river. Lobby and rest areas are most agreeable. Beds are hard however, but that is common in Thai hotels. The staff were very helpful and friendly. You need a car to get to this hotel, even it is not far from the...

The Sofa Gallery Hotel is quite what the Name says: I tiny place at the Meking river with only 5 or 6 rooms. It is a very romantic place although the building is made completely out of concrete. We did particularly like the lovely decorated rooms that made us feel comfortable immediately. The pool is not a pool but rather...

Small family run hotel with the best hospitality I have ever experienced. The owners are super friendly and go out of there way to help. Rooms are basic but still contain everything you need (book a river view room, sip your drink on the terrace and dream!) I was happy to share my bathroom with four gecko's. I named them...

Staying at this very little hotel (5 rooms) was a nice experience, very different from the anonymous larger places in and around Nong Khai. It is situated somewhat outside the city, but within minutes of driving. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, with plenty of suggestions on what to do and see. The rooms are nice, the bathrooms good,...

This is a small clean guest house run by friendly and helpful people and rooms have a view of a delightful fish pond, garden and the Mekong. Unfortunately anyone in the garden can have a view of you in the shower or on the toilet. It's bizarre. The room itself only really has a bed. The toilet, washbasin and shower...

I stayed at this hotel in December 2012, the room is OK clean and comfortable. It is suitable for one who need relaxation because there is no TV, books ,newspapers and magazines. It is very quiet far away from market and communities. We can take Tuk Tuk to Nongkhai town about 2-3 km. The Friendship bridge between Thailand and Laos PDR...

great views from this hotel. it is quite small and a good 15-20minute walk from town (or Friendship bridge to Laos) , Rooms were ok , breakfast was good and right on the river which was nice. I would recommend at night if coming back from Nong Khai town to take a tuk-tuk as its a dark busy ride with...

We visited Sofa and were incredibly happy with the services and the beautiful art and gardens in the space. The views from the upstairs rooms of the Mekong River are amazing and the staff are incredibly friendly. I really liked the outdoor/indoor bathrooms, but they might be a little surprising for some people who are expecting something different. There is...
