Mr Jan’s Guesthouse is located in a quiet spot just one street back from the busy main drag and close to the river which is the highlight of a visit to Pai. It is comprised of various bungalows situated in a botanic garden with ponds and a path making a circular route around the garden. I came across this guesthouse...

So happy a friend recommended this charming Gem! Lovely gardens and clean, basic private rooms with fan and private hot water bath. Mr. Jan's is super central and can be reached by several backstreet options (hint: use Maps.Me to navigate!) Just steps away from a multitude of bars and restaurants on market street and only a couple hundred metres from...

I stayed there for just 2 nights, but the place is great. Very close to the walking street, good room with large bed and clean bathroom, all that hidden in a charming garden with little chill out areas here and there. A great budget deal for any traveller.

For such a well situated guesthouse in busy Pai, this was a bargain. We paid 200 tb but I've heard they'll go even lower than that if you're fussed. We had a double bed bungalow with a fan. It was very clean, no funny smells or sights. Fan was strong (you won't need air con in Pai) and the shower...

For the third time in Pai, and for the third time at this wonderfull guesthouse! Over the years it's still nice and quiet even though the mainstreet is a sec away. The bungalows are nice with a small balcony with nice chairs. The beds are spacious and comfortable for a good night sleep. Don't take the a/c room, it's more...

the toilet smelled badly, the room was not clean at all, with dust everywhere. I had to buy a sanitizer. the bed covers smelled too. It felt safe, at least. I have been travelling across thailand for a month now and I have never seen anything like this before. During the high season, definitely not worth the money. The receptionist...

Great guesthouse: clean, very cheap (payed 150 for a private room with private bath, with fan and no a/c but it's not needed, in Pai is very cold). Located near the walking street in a silent zone of Pai. Go there!

Great value, lovely, quiet setting. Just a two minute walk to the walking street and lots of restaurants/bars. Lovely bungalows with outside space. The family are welcoming and helpful and we ended up staying for a lot longer than we intended! Would definitely recommend and would love to come back. P.S having stayed in two different bungalows, the beds are...

“I've heard there are rooms with shared bathrooms.. Dont take it. Pai is like any other city of Thailand, which means, it is filled with mosquitos and other bugs. Pai is on the hill top so you will probably be ok with the fan rooms. No need of A/C”
