Decided to make an unscheduled stop in Phiseanlouk. Decided we wanted to be in the City Center. Check In was slow, as the Staff, dressed in traditional silk formal jackets, struggled to find my reservation. The room was small, clean, no grand river view as we were above the restaurant! Before walking to the Night Market, just across the Nan...

Large hotel, clean and comfortable, with spacious rooms. Rather old fashioned art deco style interior with sweeping staircase rather like a 50's cinema,.but nicely done. Rooms nicely furnished. In common with many Thai provincial hotels, the breakfast is perfunctory, with the usual rubberised fried eggs, spam, boiled frankfurters and toasting machine as well the standard Thai options, dreadful coffee.. So not aimed...

The bed is very cozy while, the room is clean and quiet. A/C and fridge are working well. Working desk is big with 3x electric outlets and the brightness is ok. Another 2x outlets are available near the bed. Only local cable TV is available and has low signal. Brightness in the bathroom is good. Typical aminities are proveded. Water...

Phitsanulok is a good place to stay on the Bangkok-Chang Mai train route. It is about an hour away from Sukhotai by local bus. The Grand Riverside was perhaps the best place we stayed during our month in Thailand. It is easy to get to by foot (walk straight from the train station over the bridge and the hotel is...

Very comfortable and close to the riverside bars and restaurants on the opposite bank of the river. It's not close to any notable attraction (temple, market, folklore museum) but tuk-tuks and taxis are numerous. We enjoyed our stay.

Located just over the road from central Phitsanulok this hotel offers good value. A bit sterile in atmosphere, never the less good comfortable quiet rooms and a decent breakfast for rural Thailand it would be difficult to get a better overall deal than this hotel

After two nights at the Grand Riverside in Feb 2016 I would say that this hotel is a very good choice. We booked a deluxe room and were greeted with a very spacious room that had recently had a facelift with some modern fittings alongside the older traditional teak fittings. The bathroom had been redecorated including painting all the tiles...

Perhaps a new name for the hotel is appropriate as the grandness is now needing to be refreshed and the situation is not riverside. Nevertheless the public areas and bedrooms are spacious and well cared for. Despite a very late arrival by train we were warmly welcomed and soon able to,enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. The town centre is on...

This hotel is very nice, a grand looking lounge. Good central location, a five minute walk from the bridge across to the main town and the night bazzar. When we visited Phitsanulok food festival was going on so was a great base to see that. Lovely views from the seventh floor. The room was very large, airy and comfortable. Was...

From the number of stars I expected much better quality. Wifi/internet is so bad I can't use it for more than a minute or two. Lights burned out in the room, desk light started flashing on and off and had to turn it off. Need was comfortable however. I was too tired to have them fix it but I suspect...
