We took a room with aircon and 2 separate bed. It was long time ago we get a poor room like this ( we travel to Thailand more then 11 years ) Breakfast was horrible and poor , we get khawtomsoep with coffee. The only good is the excellent view to mon bridge.

We've wanted to try this restaurant because close to the Mon bridge. We've ordered 3 different dishes, all we're not good, not tasty and too oily. One of the worst meal I ever had in Thailand. You can go for a drink enjoying the view, but that's all.....

If you ever happen to come to this place please avoid to eat food in this restaurant. I have been here for nearly seven years in Thailand and never got anything so terrible. I can only hope that I do not get sick from eating there. Place is also quite dirty to my taste.

Compared with other guesthouses with resort-feel, Burmese Inn keeps the look and facilities of it close to the home condition of a local. Tiles, bed and furnitures that are simple yet giving a sense of authenticity. The locals don't live in a perfect condition of toilets and room. There are little insects flying in at night, toilet is clean but...

My partner and I had planned to spend a few days at this guesthouse but after our first night we wanted to leave as soon as possible. We paid 400B for a small fan room with the hardest bed imaginable. The shower was cold, the sink tap had to be held in place whilst turned on and there were ants...

After arriving in Sangkhlaburi late the previous night, my partner and I ate lunch at this place (NB: we didn't stay at the guest house). Although the general rule of thumb is eat what a place specialises in, because none of the Burmese dishes were vegetarian-friendly (and because they had none of the Burmese dishes I like), we ordered a...

We stay here one night. The price is to much for what it is. The room is old and only with fan. The bathroom it's Indian and doesn't have a flush. The bed its old everything it's ok. The view is good but because it's so close to the lake there are a lot of Mosquitos. Check the new place...

The situation of the Burmese Inn is great, it looks lovely overlooking the lake, yes, it's a little steep to get to the room, but nothing major. The Burmese food we were recommended to try was very tasty, a completely different curry from the Thai ones, and pretty cheap. The room was the problem, not the hard mattress, can cope...

There aren't many budget options in this town with a private bathroom so for 350 baht for a fan room, this is an ok choice. However, you do have to contend with a long winding and steep path to the riverside room. The view from outside the room is beautiful, but the room itself is very basic. Manual flush toilet,...
