We just stayed for one night on a mini trip from Tashkent to explore. As you enter the old wooden door you are aware of the history / story of the building, which has been respectfully converted. Friendly staff. Great location. Amazing breakfast. Only small issue was mattress a bit weird, as in 2 parts!

The Amulet Hotel is housed in a small medieval former madrassa. Its round stone courtyard is the local of its hearty and interesting breakfast. My only objection was the breakfast 'table' was in the Uzbekistan style and it was a bit hard to get our legs under the table. I think we were supposed to sit cross-legged! The rooms were...

This lovely hostel is in a former madrassa, in the center of the old town of Bukhara. It has two floors with a beautiful yard, with a nice place to chat (a traditional woody beds with carpets and pillows, Persian style) and drink tea and eat nuts (offered by the staff).More two of this traditional beds are in the upper...

The info about the room was somewhat misleading: Booking the triple, we had expected two separate rooms, but the single bed room proved to be the space between the double bed room and the bathroom. Fine for a family but not for a group of friends such as us with a need for privacy. Still, the manager was extremely helpful...

Delightful place: a beautifully renovated old medressa with tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean air-conditioned rooms, delicious breakfast, centrally located and with lovely hosts. Tea is offered with a choice of nuts and other goodies anytime you like, free of charge and with a smile - what more could you ask for?

This is lovely little medressah converted into a boutique hotel, with all rooms opening out onto the central shaded courtyard. A delight to the eye. I stayed here, in a single downstairs corner room, for a week in September 2014. I loved it. Comfortable room, friendly staff, great ambience. Nice breakfast included. The hotel is close to Chor-Minor and a...

I checked in, went to room and propmplty check out. The room was small, dirty, cold and had limited privacy. I was sitting on bed and could see through gaps in door to main courtyard, where guests were playing harmonica just feet from door. Fortunately the staff were very nice and accommodating and did not charge me for booking. Hotel...

A 19th century madrasa was beautifully restored and turned into a boutique hotel that has a very ethnic feel yet at the same time offers modern comforts. We stayed five nights in Amulet hotel and loved everything about it! Rooms are decorated with traditional local textiles, have modern bathroom and A/C. Delicious breakfast with good selection of warm and cold...

Beautiful Amulet....a 19th century Madrasah which is converted to a hotel with just 8 rooms and suited us well for a group of 14. The whole ambiance is so quaint ethnic and rustic and at the same time it has the modern comforts....good bathrooms, mattresses etc. The rooms have an ethnic touch with ikat curtains, embroidered bed covers, nice wall...

Exactly as described. Deserve all the positive reviews it was qualified with. A lovely courtyard, tastefully decorated room and an excellent level of service. Very well located and peaceful , in the heart of Bukhara . The best of all the places we stayed in Uzbekistan .
