The Spa is situated at the high hills of Indonesia. It can be quite chilly in the evenings and early mornings. One can jam pack your daily activities during your stay. You can start out each morning with a 5am morning hike to the waterfalls. You could arrange all sorts of exercise or Yoga classes throughout the day as well....

We tried weekend package at Javana. It is beautiful property in lap of nature, fresh air, quiet and calm space. We really liked the spa, sauna and hiking to fountains. Food is local and tasty. Package is bit expensive for this property, rooms are old and need renovation. Wifi was not working well, phone network is low. Only challenge is...

Although, as many others have reported here, this spa is set in a wonderful location, the facilities are poor. The gym equipment is old and, in my opinion, dangerous. The steam room does not work and the sauna was 'warm'. The staff are wonderful and the treatments very good. I had a number of yoga sessions which were excellent until...

It's so unfortunate that we probably will not be visiting this place at all. Their marketing has turned our spark of enthusiasm into disappointment even before we have the trip. My wife and I were planning to have a quick weekend getaway at the end of this Ramadhan month. So, my wife submitted a request through its website on 18...

I'm still torn between loving it or hating it.. We went there ourselves by car, which was an experience on it's own.. to say the least.. When we arrived it appeared we were the only guests there.. The buildings and grounds looked gorgeous and we were surprised to learn it was built in 1991, it still looked very new. It's...

we found this spa resort in the internet offering luxury and adventure as a weekend get-away from jakarta. When we arrived there, after a nervracking drive on very bad roads, it was everything but luxurious. The hotel is very old, but seemed in very good shape when we were shown around the facilities. When we arrived at our room, it...

As what other reviewers commented on...the environment is exceptional...tranquility at its best. The journey there and from could be a good few hours filled with potholes and traffic jams, but the rest one would get at the resort is well worth all the effort in getting there. I personally love the fact that I was there during a lull period...

This was my second time visiting Javana Spa after my first visit more than 10 years ago, and I must say, the place has not changed much. It is as peaceful as ever, and the facilities are well maintained. Even though its location is not very far from Jakarta, this place remained unknown or unheard of to many people in...

It was a short but relaxing getaway. The exercise classes and hikes are good and the place is very peaceful and quiet. Massages are also good if you like deep tissue massages. So quiet that I can't sleep. Staff are attentive and friendly and accomodative. Daily schedule is planned but you are free to change it if instructor or spa...

“Ask for mountain facing rooms...these undoubtedly have the best views. No air-conditioning in the room, but you wouldn't miss this artificial air as you'll be breathing in the natural air-conditioning from the mountain in all its freshness! Pay in cash using Rupiah if possible, as this is the currency that would be charged to your account at the end.”
