My husband is a native Jordanian, and we wanted to recreate some of his memories of camping in Wadi Rum for our wedding celebrations. So we invited a large group to join us. Before bringing the whole group we went down to test it out. We fell in love with the sunset spot, a quick scramble up the hill by...

We took a one day jeep tour with Aodah Abdullah in Wadi Rum. He spoke excellent English and gave us some information about the different sights. He drove very carefully through the desert terrain as one of our party had a bad back. The tour was very thorough and he took us to all the sights to see in Wadi...

My family of six just spent one night at the Beduin Whispers camp in Wadi rum, and it was a really good experience! We had booked it before we got to Jordan, and Aodeh answers our mails immediately and he was forthcoming in arranging a tour that would suit our schedule the best. He was waiting for us at the...

This experience was incredible. For anyone who likes to be outdoors, free to climb things, run down sand dunes, pet camels (or ride them if you want to), and see incredible desert views, this is the place. It was super cheap to have a whole day and night camping in the desert. There is no work involved for you, the...

I just can say that having to nights at Wadi rum was soooo worth it! Beautiful landscapes and the guides we had spoke good english and knew the area very well, the food was very good and sleeping at the bedouin camp was comfortable. We had a combination of jeep 4x4 , trekking and scrambling. Shushu ( guide's nickname) took...

It is what do Bedouins whisper : "Just enjoy the sky" and now I try to live with this memory in my heart. You can have money, you can read books, you can study and finish faculties, you can travel around the world, but maybe what you need is to find your place and the moment when you listen to...

We spent 2 beautiful days in wadi rum, but i think the price was too high for what we got. We paid 110 JD per person. The guide didn't speak English apart from a few sentences and wasn't very motivated. The description on the homepage had notthing to do with the offered meals - bedouin breakfast was composed of jam...

My friend and I did a fair amount of research online to find what we thought would be the best camp in Wadi Rum. We wanted to have an experience where we were as isolated from other 'tourist trappings' as possible, whilst still enjoying a level of comfort. Aodeh (The owner) and his cousin Awad provided this experience perfectly. We...

We had the most amazing time travelling with Nasser on camels through the desert. The camels were well behaved wonderful. Nassar, although we speak no Arabic and he had little English was a great guide. He brought us to lovely spots and showed us how he makes bread in embers and hot sand. It was remarkably not gritty! The quietness...
