Location is good, close to the center and facing the mountains. However, rooms are terrible. Our closets were locked so we couldn't put our stuff anywhere other than leave it in the luggage. Also, bedrooms have no locks or keys so once you're out, your privacy is gone with you. Also, I believe we were fooled with the pricing. Upon...

Since Lebanon not having many hostels or dormitorys, staying here was a breath of fresh air and surly the cheapest bed you can find in Lebanon (only 10 bucks) The guest house is located a bit up hill from the city center, no more than a 10 min walk, the house itself feels like you are staying in someones home,...

I spent five days in the dorm of Tiger House Pension. Fortunately there were no other guest's this off season time. The Ownerin was actually very friendly and has given me many helpful hints of the region. Her husband was a bit strange. It was difficult to communicate with him. I felt a bit pitty about the Ethiopian cleaner. She...

Came up here with a big group for the night to go hiking in the mountains the next day. Owners made us absolutely masses of delicious lebanese food for dinner and breakfast and were very attentive and accommodating throughout, and didn't mind us coming back drunkenly from a bar in the early hours. Bedrooms are cold but they give you...

I have stayed in the Tiger House twice over the last year ( July 2015 and October 2014). It is a great cheap option for a bed when exploring Bcharre and Qadisha. The hosts are very friendly, and are able to help direct you to some nice restaurants, and of course to the various monasteries and sights! You choose a...

I cannot recommend this place. I was advised to stay there by a local but quickly regretted my choice. The place is run by a mannered and inquisitive woman. She reluctantly agreed to show me the rooms and then to check me in (only after she leisurely finishes her lunch). You can choose between a private room for 2 and...

A really nice and cozy place to stay while visiting Khalil Gibrans museum in Bsharri. A great value although breakfast is not included. The lady is nice, but her husband is a little grumpy. I got charged $16for him to take me to and from The Cedars, which I thought was expensive.

The couple who run the Tiger House are helpful, and they made my stay very enjoyable. The pension is clean, pleasant, rustic, simple, basically what you want and expect out of a budget option, and it's the only game in town at it's price range so if visiting Bcharré on a budget I would 100% recommend it. I reserved ahead...

“There isn't a lot of information on the web about how to get to Bcharre from Beirut other than to bus via Tripoli. As most people are recommending to completely avoid Tripoli right now, I took a bus to Jbeil and then arranged a taxi from there, it was very easy and the drive is extremely pleasant. I paid 50 000LB for the taxi after much negotiation in my broken Arabic.”
