Perfect hotel to stay in Sandakan area since there is virtually nothing to do in Sandakan itself. Food was really good all day long and they make an effort to give you the best service they can. The pool is awesome.

The hotel stands out from the rest of the town. Sandakan is nice as a base for trips, but that is about it. The best thing about Sandakan is the Sheraton. The room was super spacious and great value for money. Booked last minute and found a great deal. It is what you can expect from a hotel like this,...

Dear Sir, Greetings from Sunny Sandakan! Thank you for your very positive compliments and comments about our hotel. Yes, it is quite obvious that our hotel is quite significant amidst the old and low rise building in the town. We are glad that we were able to meet up to your standards for our food an beverage served. Our infinity...

We stayed for 8 nights at this hotel in an executive room on the 25th floor and it could not be faulted in many ways. The room was spotless and everything in the room was in good condition. The only criticism of the room is that there is no soap or hand gel provided by the wash basin. The staff were,...

Nice stay. Comfortable large rooms. Beautiful view over the sulu sea in room 1713. Two large doubles. Nice bathroom. Lovely outdoor infinity pool and reasonable drinks and food prices around the pool. Convenient for the centre of Sandakan (but there isn't much there - it's very much a local working town). More for using as a base for trips and...

Was concerned what the accommodation would be like having entered the town of Sandakan, but was extremely pleased with the hotel. An oasis of chic calm and luxury. Upstairs/escalators to the reception lobby. Very nice bar with light-bite snacks available, discreet entrance to the adjacent shopping mall from reception, lovely spacious pool area with great views out over the sea....

the room was more than good enough for me. but less about the room and more about the most incredible view ever, yes you're in a city with a mall right next to you but the view doesn't fail to make you feel like you're in a 24/7 spa

Stayed at the hotel as part of a tour. Check in was super efficient and room was clean and very spacious with superb view of the city and harbour. All staff were very helpful and hotel is located on the waterfront and part of a shopping mall. The faulty fridge was promptly replaced.

We stayed here for a short break in Sandakan. Easy to find in town, friendly checkin. Got a great room with awesome view across the pool and ocean. Pool was awesome. Gym was adequate. Didn't eat there as for local prices was super expensive ( was western prices). Eat at local market a cross road for lunch and dinner in...
