This is a basic resort but more than adequate. I was travelling with my daughter and even though we booked months in advance they gave us a room with a queen bed when I had asked for 2 singles. I was disappointed with this but then realised they had a large school group staying at the same time who would...

The staff were wonderful and nice and the grounds of the resort were beautiful and in the jungle. As an added bonus it was quite close to the Orangutan Sanctuary. The rooms were rather dated, but the included breakfast was good. The staff went out of their way to help us out.

We travelled as a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 7 years old. We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. We booked two interconnecting rooms each had good air conditioning, comfortable beds (although we would have slept anywhere after travelling from the UK), and small, but functional bathrooms (shower only). Breakfast was...

Dear BoardyUK01, Thanks for choosing to stay with us. We are glad that your family have enjoyed your stay with us. In fact, we have noticed that there are more families staying with us after we have built the swimming pool. You are absolutely spot on on the gardens. We try to leave them as natural as possible and as...

This place is good for the price. It is simple rooms. The grounds are quite beautiful and the pool is really nice. It can use a bit of an update and the good can be improved as we chose to eat at the nature resort for dinners. Unfortunately our room was full of ants at one point which got into...

Dear Curtis T, Thanks for choosing to stay with us. Besides the strategic location, our resort is famous for its affordable price and we are glad that you see it the same way. I am so sorry the ants went into your luggages. November is our monsoon season and it rains a lot which means the ants are moving about....

I honestly don't understand who can rate this place as average or poor. It's great place with friendly staff. Obviously when you're in middle of no where you don't expect that it would be cheap. but the foods in restaurant were reasonable and tasty. We saw lots of wildlife during evening time (kingfisher, broadbill, flying frogs, and of all the...

With a view of the rainforest, this room was set in a beautiful location and well decorated. The adjoining restaurant served us delicious authentic food and drink. Being walking distance to the Sepilok Orang utan sanctuary, this hotel is highly recommended. Meg & Nik With A Suitcase

We stayed here for just one night before heading to Turtle island. Room a bit rundown but still in good condition. Food was okay, breakfast was too simple (hopefully this could be improved). Also the cleanliness of the area could be improved (i saw a water bottle and small rubbish lying around on the way to the rooms at..

The location is excellent next to the Orangutan and Sun Bear rehabilitation centre. The resort looks like it was once a showpiece but is sadly run down. The room was comfortable, beds nice and soft and the air-conditioner worked well. The gardens were beautiful but needed a bit of love. The freshly cooked food was delicious but we were concerned...

Basic jungle style resort – the facility looks a bit dated. The rooms were a little rundown, but clean. Since it was only for one night, it was adequate.
